I stayed in a single room at Las Donas in December 2014. I found the staff a bit brusque and the room a bit cramped; I was unhappy to see I had no bathtub, only a shower. But all else was lovely, clean, and pleasant. I most enjoyed the nearness to the river... with my window open a crack, I... More

The Room isn't big but is very well decorated and had amenities as small fridge, hair dryer, safety box tv and confortable bed. we stayed here for the second time walking the Camino, and it continues to offer excellent service. It is immaculately maintained, and tho' the rooms are rather small, but very fully equipped. breakfast is served in an attractive dining area on the ground floor, but dinner is at a restaurant owned by the same family 5 minutes walk away. The... More

We started our Camino in Astorga and when we arrived to VillaFranca del Bierzo and walked to the inn we saw this rustic inn from the outside and when we went inside it was beautifully decorated and the rooms were sooo comfy and with air conditioning. Ohhh how we wanted to stay more days. We even spoke to the owner... More

We liked this little quaint inn. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We were staying here as it was booked in advance for us by Fresco Tours. It is easy walking distance to the town center and right on the Camino which we were walking. Tip: you must close windows before using AC.

We loved this wonderful Hotel. Walking the Camino .. weary and sore we "staggered" into the delightful down of Villafranca de Bierzo and were so relieved to discover that our pre-booked accommodation was directly on the Camino. We felt like we had arrived in Camino heaven, gracious and elegant furnishings, wonderfully welcoming staff, the beds were so comfortable, perfect wifi,... More

This place was a beautifully converted old building with everything you could want in the room and wonderful staff. We were about to start our 300 odd km Camino Santiago and indulged in a little pampering - we LOVED it.

This was a perfect hotel from which to explore the lovely town of Villa Franca. The room was very well appointed with an AMAZING shower. The receptionist was very sweet and made great recommendations. This isn't the cheapest option in town but it is worth the money. I'd stay again tomorrow.

Room 23 Kind and attentive receptionist, elegant furnishings, double bed, firm mattress, plenty of pillows, strong wifi, air conditioning worked well, great lighting in room which is oftentimes non-existent in hotels---floor lamp, 2 small lamps on each side of bed, desk lamp, and wall lamp as you enter room. Hotel has chosen serene colors---lots of creams and whites which make... More

While it's not in the prime square area, it is on the Camino ... Just means if you want to go to the main church and market area ... You have to walk back UP the road. Just looking for a good hotel, with very good rooms ... At a reasonable price ... It's a very good choice. The road... More
