Stayed at this very nice hotel for 5 nights. There was an intial problem with the reservation from booking.com but they worked very hard to fix it for us. The rooms were modern and clean and well appointed. Much better than I would have expected for a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was very nice and ample, all you can... More

We stayed here one week in November 2013. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The Hotel has a bar area with cozy couches. The wine are cheap and very good.. The Dinner food are "a-La-Carte" and almost like "Gourmet".....EXTREMELY good food in a nice restaurant with a romantic atmosphere...... Staff is very friendly and helpfull......Especially Isabel.... :-) Rooms are... More

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions over the years because my nan has been going there for the last 30 years. The hotel as far as I'm concerned got really bad recently and all they care about is money. We got charged extras for the most basic of things, like sitting outside and having our drinks. The... Only stayed here for one night on way home from Benidorm but even so found it to be very pleasant for a three star hotel. Front line and very nicely situated.also with free secure parking. Also the tram to Alicante is only ten minutes walk away. Cost of this was 1.45 euros each way, great. The dining room is far... More

Stayed here in December on a short break with my husband & sister & her husband on a HB basis. Pvt taxi from airport to hotel is half hour. Rooms described as economy double, situated on the 5th floor. Balcony facing the pool and sea from the side. Very quiet due to end of season, also the fact we had... More

Nice clean hotel in San Juan, Alicante. Situated on sea front but set back from road approx 50 metres from beach. Tram station is 5 mins walk which conects south to Alicante and north to Benidorm with really cheap fares. Restaurants and night time entertainment are hard to find in that area. Overall we had good value for money as... More

We booked 3 nights at the Almirante purely as it came up cheapest when looking for a hotel in Alicante. We weren't disappointed with the hotel or the location although it is very quiet out of season. Hotel Room. We had a room on the fifth floor. This was an unrenovated room so was basic, looking a bit tired, but... More

I arrived at the Hotel Almirante with my boyfriend after traveling from the UK our first impressions of the hotel where that it seemed nice as you walk up the long drive way everything seems pleasant and the surroundings are nice but one think I did notice was you are actually in the middle of nowhere. My fiancée and I stayed here for a week. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very friendly. The location is great. The tram station Costa Blanca is only 100m away. The breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is so we went without it. Will return!

Hotel quiet and in safe surroundings but no restaurants nearby but very easy to take tram to alicante city centre ( 15 mins 1, 45 euro) and a very nice little seaside resort called El Campello with many nice restaurants only 10 mins away. Staff very friendly and helpful . Nice pool area . We had a room that was... More
