Had to be the worst place we have ever stayed ! Ended up at the Chemist coverered in bites, and they wasnt from Mozzies but the BED!!!! Despertly in need of modernisation, certainly wont be staying again and will not be recommending to friends.... ended up checking out and re booking for rest of stay in alternative hotel .... need... more

Read mixed reviews before staying and think we know why-- depends on how busy it is. We were near the stairs and as the lift is small and slow, when several people are going out for the evening, they often choose to use the stairs --this leads to noisy happy people and ladies heels at all sorts of times. Just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel. We went for a quiet break in the sun, but it was a little too quiet for us. i read a recent review which put this hotel down as a place to avoid this was not my experience the rooms are fairly small and if you spend a lot of time in your room this is not the place for you the continental breakfast was very edible towels changed daily and the beds were made also the hotel... more

I have stayed at Hotel Goya many times. We have always enjoyed ourselves, and all that thanks to the FRIENDLIEST and NICEST receptionst we have ever known, after traveling all over the world. The hotel is situated at the northern part of the city, however, the city is rather small, so if you don't mind walking, you can get anywhere by foot within 15 minutes (beach, bus terminal...).
