We stayed on the 6th Feb. The room was absolutely perfect, the bed very comfortable and the view beautiful. However we did not know that there was a fiesta in Alicante on the 6th February, all seemed ok at first as most of the noise and the crowd were in the main part of the town, but as the night... Melia hotels are a superb chain of smart hotels and we have stayed in many of their offerings. Returning to Alicante we were or so we thought upgraded with great consideration of our past record and smilingly accepted. We walked through Alicante in the afternoon and were greeted with the tremendous vista of families in costume celebrating the fiesta of... More

Have stayed here twice for a couple of nights. It's ideally situated for the old town, the marina and the long paseo which has seats dotted about for people watching. It's a bonus to be so close to the many bars and restaurants of the old town. There is a small bar where you can have a snack, the staff... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Warmly welcomed and upgraded. Spacious well appointed room with sea view. Parking not well signed, Central location, could walk just about anywhere and couldn’t beat the location on the front. Excellent breakfast in large room. Would stay here again.

The first I knew of the extensive building works was when checking-in. The drilling went on for hours on end, and there was a decorator working directly outside my room all day long, every day. Decorating equipment was scattered everywhere, such that you had to carefully step over things. I thought it was a joke having paying guests in the... More

The last 2 days of our week were marred by building work above our room, The balcony was superb, the sun shone, but sitting out was not a good experience because of the noise. The hotel is in a good position and the food in the Tempa restaurant was very good.

Stayed for the first time after a long absence of 5 years. The hotel has changed with better look on reception and bar areas and renewed rooms. I was upgraded to a gorgeous suite right at the corner with a terrace overlooking the beach and in front of the castle. Simply stunning. I can´t thank you enough the receptionist! I... More

This was our first trip since The Level moved from the fifth to the first floor. Overall the amenities are good, and the decor etc to a good standard. The breakfast /lounge area is nicely decorated with plenty of seats where you can see the lovely sea view. The pool area was mostly in shade but as we were there... More

We stayed for 2 weeks in January. We had a junior suite with views over the bay and the castle. The hotel has an ideal situation for exploring the town or walking along the promenade. The only downsides were the horrible smell in the corridor between reception and the lifts which permeated the whole hotel throughout the two weeks. and... More

We stayed for nights at the end of January, easy to jump on C6 bus from airport which dropped us right by hotel for 3.85 euros each (taxi circa 20 euros). Easy access to old town restaurants and bars.
