Just came back from a long weekend from the Sidi San Juan with my Dad. We loved the hotel, which offered a real 5* treat. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The shuttle service into Alicante and back was brilliant, which made the weekend much more enjoyable. We were on the 4th floor which gave great sea views and... more

Spent 2 days at the Sidi in early February 2007. Overall a pleasant experience, although I have to warn that there are hidden extras (this may be the norm in 5 star hotels - I don't know because I don't stay at many). The room was excellent - great views. Breakfast was superb. Not much in the way of English... more

We flew into Alicante airport and rented a car for our 5 night stay in Spain. On arrival at the Hotel the staff had the boot open to take the luggage before I even got out of the drivers seat. They also parked the car in the indoor garage and later in week, at my request, filled it up with... more

Hotel was lovely, very clean and spacious rooms. No noise from other rooms and beautiful sea view. Excellent food tho very pricey. Went early October 2006 and sea was chilly, some brave people were swimming. It was hot enough to sunbathe and get a nice tan. Outdoor pool was too cold to use, but indoor climatised pool was nice. Hotel... more

There is only one hotel on that beach: the sidi! All rooms with seaview. It's brilliant when you're lying in your bed and you can hear the surge. The rooms are quite spacious more

This review is a bit late, but I just thought I'd contribute since we couldn't find much information on this hotel when we were looking. We weren't sure what we were getting into, but our apprehension disappeared when we drove up to the entrance. The grounds looked like a tropical paradise, and staff rushed out to greet us upon arrival.... more

Enjoyed a 3 day Spa break at this fantastic little gem of a 5 Star Hotel. The hotel spa offers a variety of treatments which are reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was also fantastic. In particular the manu and the service in the a la carte restaurant was exceptional,... more

A very relaxing break in a hotel with all rooms facing the beautiful white sand and the Mediterranean sea. Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent breakfast eaten on the terrace - from smoked salmon to english breakfast and jamon and queso! Small pool with limited space around it but not a necessity with the beach so close and other private lawned... more

Stayed with my wife in the Sidi San Juan Hotel 7 miles north of Alicante from 3rd March to 6th March 2006. Beautiful 5 star hotel set in the concrete jungle of San Juan. Weather was poor during our stay so we did'nt get the chance to use the adjoining vast beach. Luckily the hotel had a heated indoor swimming... more

Stay there for a pre-spring weekend mid of february. Nice Hotel. All rooms have ocean view, the staff is friendly and the food ist delishes, the atmosphere is rather coldly, the waiters fast but impersonal. We had a non smoking room, this smelled nevertheless smoked. On our room (4th floor), we have free WLAN Access. Not shure if is from... more
