This is a pleasant, modern 4 star hotel in the commercial centre of Alicante, not far from the Old Town, opposite the market and close to the railway and bus stations. After my recent experience in a Hesperia hotel in Murcia I was not sure that we had made the right choice, but the stay was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't choose Alicante,it chose us. We wanted to visit relatives who live nearby and we didn't want to hire a car so chose to stay in the centre of Alicante close to transport,shops,cafes and the beach. The Lucentum was.fabulous.
