We just came back after spending one week there, it was the second time for us. Few notes: - Breakfast buffet, please improve the spanish ham you provide. Last year was much better. - Check in and languages. As a Spanish family we appreciate speaking in our own language. A good number of the staff they could hardly understand Spanish.... More

The Abama is a beautiful and stylish resort. We went during low season, which meant that we sometimes had the pools all to our selves (everyone else was golfing). Staff was very helpful, spa, swimming pools, food, ambience and beach very recommendable.

As part of our almost yearly family tradition of spending Easter in Tenerife, my brother and I decided to try a little luxury before joining the rest of the family and chose the Abama hotel to do it. Now realizing what Abama is and isn’t, is really the key to having a great time. First of all, Abama is HUGE... More

Easter holiday for 9 days in early April. This is a true 5 star resort in terms of size quality and service. Our junior suite was lovely with sea view. Yes it's pricey but you pay for what you get. The service is by far the best I have experienced in 7 years of Spanish holidays. The food is amazing...apart... More

We spent 10 days here in march and it was very relaxing and good quality, but costly. The resort is large and this gives a great choice of restaurants and bars. The adults only pool is lovely and the restaurant by the beach is very pleasant overlooking the bay. The hotel has a private area on the public beach and... More

Just left The Abama for I think the 6th time. Previous reviews of mine will highlight I am a fan. The things I liked before I still do. These include, lush feel, beautifully tended gardens & grounds, large rooms, modern facilities, beach bar/restaurant, service in tapas restaurant ( tried very hard) but... This visit was not a joy from start... More

We just returned from our first visit to Abama. It really is a beautiful hotel and we can't fault the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the amazing views. Our only disappointment was the food! We arrived on Sunday night and went to book our week's worth of dinners on Monday morning. We couldn't get anything... More

Just returned from our 3rd visit to The Abama. We had a lovely time, but there are a few things that really disappointed me!!! The resort is large, so there is a need to be transported around it, it was previously done very efficiently using golf buggies, however this time they have changed it to a Disney style choo choo... Our third stay at Abama and I so want to love this hotel, so much to offer just 4 hours from London. BUT I DONT WANT TO CHASE A TOY TRAIN TO GET BACK TO MY ROOM AFTER SPENDING €400 ON DINNER. My four year old loves it but for the clientele they're trying to attract hanging around all day... More

Abama which some may not realise is part of Ritz Carlton Group. This our 4th visit and we chose Tagor Villas this time (Adults only) A little indulgence with extra comfy sunbed along with little extras by the pool ie wine, beer and water gratis as well as room service should you wish with limited choice but then I love...
