Hotel as such is good and location is not so bad either, but you must have your own food with you. Hotel restaurant is mentioned in the Michelin Guide, but probably as place to avoid!
Opening times are amazing! From 2100 to 2330! I could live with that, but only possibility to get a snack before is to visit nearby...

Friends who stayed previously said they were bitten by something in the blankets, so we immediately took them off the beds. So we slept fine, undisturbed by the nearby trains and quite warm enough.
The layout of the place was a little confusing, with reception on floor 5, but for the night before our ferry it was an ideal place...

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast room a bit small for the peak time but once again, very good service. The area is very nice but a bit too far from Bilbao. Will definetly come back again!
Arrived late Monday afternoon. Only a small reception desk that was overwhelmed. Asked about dinner booking - "no problem" we are told. Arrive for dinner at 8 - restaurant closed. "Can have a meal in the bar through there." Small bar with low [coffee] tables set with place settings. No waiting staff in evidence but the bar itself is busy....

This very comfortable hotel was the perfect location for very quick and easy access to Bilbao for our 3 night stay. Some might be disturbed by the trains which run next to the hotel but we chose the hotel for the direct train access into the city. We paid 10 Euros for a multi purpose ticket which allows travel on...

Quite a gem of a hotel not far from the ferry to Portsmouth at a very reasonable 62 Euros, however the parking was a further 15 Euros!!! Stayed in a twin room in the new part of the hotel which had large clean comfortable rooms and excellent bathroom. The airconditioning only blew out warm air (despite complaining) and you could...

A luxurious hotel on a hillside just outside Bilbao, externally very attractive and cunningly built into the side of the hill. Convenient for the port and the historical transporter bridge (15 minute walk). It’s 5-10 minutes walk to the train or metro stations, so very easy to get into the city without the driving and parking hassle. RENFE was €4...

Travelling overland from Malaga to connect with the Portsmouth ferry (flights all off due to volcano crisis) booked this by internet as was close to Bilbao port. Arrived about 10 pm, restaurant and bar closed for a function but food available through room service and staff took orders for drinks.
Lovely room - comfy bed, beautiful well-equipped bathroom (even fluffy...
