This hotel is one of our favourites. We travel extensively, house sitting across Europe, and consequently are always looking for reasonably priced accommodation. Hotel Borja fits into this category perfectly and we always choose to stay here. I arrived in the area in the evening and wanted to be near Sagunto, which I will visit in the morning. El Puig is a seaside town several miles south. We've just spent two nights here and we were really pleased with it - we paid 50€ for two nights the Thursday & Friday of the Easter weekend so a real bargain. I was driving from Barcelona, passing by a few ancient monasteries in Catalonia and I needed an inexpensive place to spend a night before I move on to Valencia. Apart from its location in the middle of nowhere (although a mere 20 min to Valencia city centre with a car), this hotel has only one disadvantage: a musty smell in the rooms.
