We spend two nights here in May 2013 with 2 dogs and our teenage son. What makes this hotel is the location, with fantastic views over the lake and surrounded by woodland for walking and cycling. It is rural, on the edge of a small village. The hotel is modern and therefore a little austere. However, it is clean and... More

The hotel is a very modern and clean style, with plenty of glass and open spaces. The outlook from the lake view windows are lovely and having doors to fully open up to appreciate that view is excellent.- certainly worth the extra even if stopping for only one night. Everything you need in a modern room with a bit of... More

Excellent hotel. From outside it looks quite plain, but inside it is designed very well. We had a suite, which was excellent. There was a TV in the living room and the bedroom, so we could put our baby daughter's cot in the living room and still watch TV in the bedroom. Heating and insulation is excellent, the interior materials... More

First impressions of this hotel were mixed. i had travelled some distance and was in need of my room and a meal. I quickly realised that this wasnt an 'ordinary' hoteland that was confirmed once I entered my room. I tend to book a double because of liking a large bed. my room had enough space for another bed and... More

The hotel is in a wonderful spot. Pay the extra to get a room with a lake view. Buffet breakfast was very good and the room has panaramic views of the lake. The spa area is very well done. The hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. However, the most amazing thing was the helpfulness of the staff. We were... More

This hotel adjoins a large public car park and popular tourist spot for water sports and boat rides. You approach it by taking a ticket at the entrance to lift the car park barrier. You get an exit ticket from reception when checking in. This waterside building has a high standard of decor, fixtures and fittings and the rooms are... More

According to the receptionist the hotel opened in May 2009 and therefore the hotel itself as well as the furniture is brand new and without any ugly traces from other travelers. It is located directly at the Rursee (lake Rur) and has a large terrace with view to the lake. There is plenty of space to park cars right in... More

Spent a night here while touring with wife and dog. Had trouble finding it but that was due to believing the satnav - it is actually next to a main road. Completely new hotel built by the side of a reservoir. Compfortable rooms, nice sauna and a good restaurant although the service was a bit slow and it wasn't cheap.... More
