The apartment was beautiful and we (4 of us) had more than enough room, very spacious. The grounds were lovely and it was wonderful to be on a working farm/vineyard. The people in the front office were great, always helpful. We loved it!

Eighteen travelers enjoyed this lovely, quiet estate. We took over Podere Frasca and Fienile. The accommodations are pleasant, but not luxurious by US standards. However, they were quite comfortable. They are set up with sitting areas, kitchens, dining areas along with several bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom. The Fienile is a small cottage, which sleeps four and the rest... More

We stayed in La Frasca at Fattoria Varramista, there were 13 adults and 8 children and we rented all three of the apartments. The place was brilliant - amazing gardens, helpful staff a huge and beautiful pool. We were completely remote from the main house (and everyone else). Close by supermarket and an amazing restaurant - Quattro Gigli. We hardly... More

We stayed in a 3 bed ground floor apt on this estate in July 2015. There was a cluster of about 5 apts sharing a pool...very private and secluded with amazing views. Very rural but VERY accessible by car for a number of cities and shops etc The apt was very spacious and really clean and pool was a good... More

We stayed in the Krizia (aka Quercia) apartment on the Varramista estate. There are three clusters of villas on this vast working winery estate. Each of the three groupings of houses has its own pool and shared laundry facilities. They are far enough away from one another to offer seclusion and privacy. We happened to book our stay through US-based... More

We visited the Villa At Varramista with a private group of about 30 while on a Med cruise. We were with a group of wine and food lovers and a private tour, tasting and lunch were pre arranged. We had a five course lunch with wine pairings to go with each. The wines were very good and the food was... More

I have not stayed at Varramista, but visited the place on a lovely guided tour. We were a big group and ended up having a private tour from a senior employee of the Varramista company. Ilaria spoke English very well and was very patient with our group which included young children. I recommend calling ahead for a visit.

We stayed at Fattoria Varramista for a week in May 2012. It was fabulous! It is necessary to have a car to visit the surrounding areas, but we preferred that so we could really experience Italy rather than just the tourist hang outs. The office was wonderful to work with - prior to arrival, while we were there, to accommodate... More

This was our first ever trip to Italy. We flew into Pisa and wanted something that was not too far of a drive from the airport (this was about 40min). We also wanted a place that would be short driving to other towns to explore (Florence, Lucca, etc). The location was perfect for this. We felt like we were in... More

We have stayed at Varramista twice and have just booked our third stay for this summer. One year we rented a house through Tuscany Now and we were so disappointed that we left after two nights (having already paid for a week) and went right back to Varramista. The manager is easy to work with and very nice. We have... More
