The hotel is simply wonderful. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of Toscana. Our room had a beautiful view of the hills. Every corner of the hotel is so well taken care of. The restaurant is excellent! Homemade pasta and incredible attention! A MUST in Toscana!

We stayed here 2 nights during a bicycle tour. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The variety of quirky antique furnishings was fabulous, the room was spacious and comfortable and had a terrific view. The food was super, and the wait staff in the restaurant were very helpful explaining the menu which had no English translations. For bicycling, the... More

We were just looking for a break in the drive from Pisa to Florence after arriving at Pisa airport in the late afternoon. This small but rambling hotel was an unexpected delight. Rooms are huge, corridors and staircases abound, festooned with antiques (well, we would call them antiques in Australia, but in Italy they are probably just interesting and whimsical... More

As some others say, the beds are not great, but then again, the cost is so cheap you can't be expecting brand new Hilton super king beds either. The rooms are quite sizable, and the views from the rooms are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the wait staff are about as good as any money could buy.... More

We stopped here as it was a convenient stop over on a motorcycle trip. We did not expect great things. We were wrong. The hotel is a large old building over four floors. our room was a double on the second floor and the view from the balcony was stunning. The rooms, as you'd expect from a old building were... More

I have stayed here more than once and I loved it each time. Especially appreciate the cordial service from Renza and Fulvia and Fulvia's husband and aunt. Breakfast overlooking the romantic hills of Tuscany. Excellent value.

Wonderfull hotel, with stunning views and a very nice decor. We were received with open arms, and felt immediately at home. Located 5 minutes drive from the motorway, between Pisa and Florence, with very easy access to both these cities, also takes only about 50 minutes to drive to the stunning medieval town of San Gimignano. Parking is 2-3 min... More

We have stayed here four times in recent years, and find it ideal for touring Tuscany with day trips from Siena to Pisa and beyond. You can even park and train into Florence, 45 minutes away. The rooms are well kept, and many large, some with king-size beds (rare in EU) We have often enjoyed delicious dinners in the restaurant,... More

We stayed in 4 Gigli for just one night, because we were on the way to the south of the Tuscany. We found this hotel through a German magazine and were very happy to have found it. Not the first view it was a bit ofma dark dungeon, but when we opened the curtains and the hatches, it looked very... More
