“A Real Gem”

If you're looking something fancy, look elsewhere. This place is friendly down-to-earth oasis. Aside from enjoying long walks on the beach, I loved their lovely pool. The food was excellent and the owner (Carolyna) is the perfect host. Having a background in travel and tourism, she knows how to cater to North Americans. More

The things that I liked about The Laughing Pelican www.thelaughingpelican.com were: - I contacted her by email and found the owner to be responsive to my questions (Is El Salvador safe? Yes. Can I walk around alone as a single female? Yes.) . Yes, El Salvador is not the violent dangerous place that you read about in the guidebooks. It... More
