Visited for the 1st time on Mother's Day. Was bit worried as the restaurant was very quiet and the only table in there were all sat in silence! A lovely lady greeted us and showed us to our table. Lovely comfy chairs and nicely decorated. Menu is short but sweet. Kids menu went down a treat with my boy. Huge... More

Refurbishment is underway and the place is clean and tidy. The food is fantastic - it was beautifully cooked and presented, and was excellent value. Lovely gardens out the... More

I booked this pub for a group meal as I saw on the internet that it had a children's play area in the garden, I didn't expect the food to be as good as it turned out to be! Excellent value for money and good tasty home cooked food. Will visit again!

New managment. Chef previously worked in top London restaurants but still good honest pub grub with a specials board to die for! Rooms being renovated. Managers are lovely and welcoming. Open every day. Worth a visit.
