I decided to treat myself to a bit of 'me time' and book myself into the wing section of the house. The room was very stylish, comfortable and clean. Overlooking very well kept gardens gave a sense of tranquility and peace. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in and after a great nights sleep, I had a difficult... More

We stayed here for two nights either side of our god-daughters wedding which was close by. We were given a great welcome by the hosts and Wilbur, one of the dogs. Accommodation is lovely, breakfast is lovely, garden and setting lovely. LIttle touches of luxury including flannel, Moulton Brown in the bathroom and iced water at night. The bed seemed... More

My mom and I stayed at Merzie Meadows for a couple of nights and used it as a base for exploring the surrounding Kent countryside. Pamela is an absolutely lovely host and completely makes you feel at home. She has 2 bedrooms – ours was very light and airy with gorgeous views out onto the landscape gardens in the back.... More

What a beautiful garden! What a beautiful house! Truly relaxing place, so quiet and seems far away from the world. breakfast was delicious and hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The decor of the rooms is really thought through and luxurious - this is one of the places where you feel pampered and taken care off. The room we stayed... More

We stayed at Merzie Meadows in the Honeysuckle room for three nights towards the end of May 2012. Our room was so beautiful and clean. The garden was idyllic and accessible through sliding doors directly from the bright and spacious room. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in and we discovered that the mattress was... More

The suite, garden and location are indeed very nice and comfortable. But after having read the previous reviews, and the friendly email we received on booking, we perhaps expected something a bit more personal. On arrival Pamela greeted us kindly, remarked that we must be tired after our long journey, asked us immediately to move the car and then rushed us... More

All the good things which others have said about this place we found to be correct. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and very spacious, the bathrooms large and well stocked, the breakfasts were fine, the owner friendly and keen to please ... the mystery was the £4.50 charge for laundering a towel if you wanted to use the small swimming... I am pleased you enjoyed your stay here at Merzie Meadows, but the unheated pool has been considered incidental to the Bed and Breakfast offered because it is not heated so it is not included in our charges, though we have a note that says "if you would like to use the Swimming Pool please do not hesitate to ask"... We have stayed at Merzie Medows on several occasions now, luxury at it's best. Always clean, superb host, fantastic breckfast. And a ideal location for visiting Kent.
