18 of us for a 50th boarding school reunion. Borgo Bastia Creti was perfect and everyone in our group loved it. Sonia Ceppitelli is the resident manager and she is terrific. 360 degree views of upper Umbria unobstructed by anything commercial. Located at the top of a hill (think Vermont), it is accessed by a two mile gravel road. Nice... More

My wife and I stayed at Bastia Creti for a week in early June 2013. We cannot recommend the accommodation and staff enough, every aspect of our stay was excellent. We chose the borgo as our wedding venue, and rented the property exclusively for our use, staying with family and friends. We couldn't have chosen a better venue for our... More

There were 11 of us and we had 2 apartments. Always wary when travelling with so many but the spaciousness and sheer beauty of the place made this holiday one of the best. It is breathtakingly beautiful at the same time as being comfortable and being able to have a meal cooked for you at night or go down to... More

Our family and friends recently stayed in this idyllic 'villa on the hill' in Umbria. Relaxation was what we were looking for and that's exactly what we got. Magical and wonderful, those two words certainly are at the top of my list when describing what any visitor has in store. Quite simply all expectation were exceeded. The rooms were clean... More

We brought our 2 year old twins and 8 year old here last summer and it was really heavenly. It is a beautiful hamlet in Umbria with several little houses and apartments, a communal swimming pool and tennis courts. There are plum, lemon, pomegranate and olive trees dotted around the well kept grounds. All the other guests were great and... More

We rented a one bedroom cottage at Borgo di Bastia Creti and it was a wonderful experience. The lodgings are beautiful and waking up to a view of the valley and surrounding countryside was such a nice start to the day. The kitchen came equipped with enough food to make several breakfasts. We could choose to make our own breakfast... More

My Wife and I have been using holiday rentals for over 10 years, in Umbria, Tuscany, Rome and the Amalfi. Without doubt, Borgo Bastia Creti has been the most ideal place we have ever stayed in Italy. The location in the Niccone Valley is perfect for our taste. It is strikingly beautiful, and unspoiled by over-tourism. The nearby villages (Montone... More

We had an idyllic 10 days at Bastia Creti. Magnificent position with wonderful views. Converted old buildings full of character – our apartment (I Cipressi) was very spacious and well appointed. Beautifully situated pool and the family enjoyed the tennis court and separate tennis wall. Sonia and the team were thoughtful and helpful. Would recommend it unreservedly. We were sorry... More
