The place is beautiful and a good concept to bring people closer to nature. But honestly, service is really bad. To be fair to the staff members, they were friendly and appeared keen to serve but unfortunately, it seems that they were poorly trained. Management needs to look into this. The breakfast buffet spread was mediocre and general cleanliness of... More

Just to say a big thank you to all at your resort for a helpful and courteous service. My wife and i stayed at the resort and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were very impressed with the facilities and the room, so comfortable, that we didn't really want to leave. It was a wonderful experience and the resort is a... More

It is the kind of place you would go in a group . The rooms are beautiful comfy and wide with tall ceilings. Check if the wifi router is connected below the desk if you have no wifi . It has a nice ambience with sound of the manmade waterfall near the pool . Pick the higher floor and facing... More

Dear dbonanny, Thank you for taking time to share your valuable feedback. We are pleased to note that you enjoyed the room and view of the resort. The resort location is out from the hustle bustle of Melaka city but we provide complimentary weekend shuttle service to the shopping district in Melaka town. Once again, thank you for your feedback... More

We booked the suite, which was actually a little lovely standalone log house. I would advise travellers to book this as you don't have to put up with the footsteps from the unit over you in a deluxe room - that is if you get the bottom unit. The room is big enough to contain the king size bed AND... More

This resort is just right after the ayer keroh toll from the highway. Very fast check in and a buggy drove us right in front of our Villa. We had a Pavilion room on the upper level and was blown away by the settings in the room. We feel like we are staying in a cabin log in the middle... More

Throughout our three weeks travel throughout Malaysia, the Philea resort was one of the most expensive hotels, with the worst service. The internet hardly worked, somwe had to move rooms, where we again had issues; we ordered a birthday cake for our daughter which was not delivered, the waiters disappeared and employees simply did not seem to bother about customer... This is one of the best places in Malaysia for a R&R out of any big city. The environment is so green, air is so fresh and food is so tasty. The only drawback are the rooms. Decorwise, it is beautiful, made entirely of wood but also very creaky due this. You can easily hear the guests in your adjoining... More

Stayed at the resort for 1 nite in the Pavillion Room. Overall impression is good with nice & peaceful surrounding (just like in a jungle). Service at the Reception counter is good & efficient. Each block of cabin has 4 units of room (2 each for the upstairs & downstairs respectively with separate access for each unit). The room is... More

First impression was great the hotel looks beautiful. The chalet exterior was breathtaking, but the down side to it is that the room was not made properly there were sand everywhere in our rooms. Buggy servise was late. The breakfast was simple. And we could here people walking in our rooms.
