We booked in for 2 nights for a cabin , when we arrived we found out we had been upgraded to a better cabin because we had booked before arriving. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we felt like family. Jo went out of her way to be helpful. We had a great weekend and would... More

We found this place to be one of the best parks we have stayed at so far. The staff were first class. Great facilities and a very relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the mystery tour and pizza night.

Whilst never having heard of Mt Surprise in Qld's gulf region it was an absolute delight to stumble across the Bedrock Village caravan park. Great facilities, relaxing environment and above all else wonderfully warm and genuine service from Jo and her staff. A perfect spot to stay especially if you want to take in the Undara lava tubes close by.

We only spent a night here and all the family were happy. Nice pool and even a mini golf course! We were also very happy with mack's half day tour to the lava tubes and crater rim at Undara too. Thanks bedrock!!

Friends had recommended visiting the Undara Lava Tubes, having done it themselves staying at the Undara resort, but there was no accommodation available for the dates we were over from New Zealand. I found Bedrock Village on Google, and was delighted they had an ensuite cabin (one of the Copperfield ones) for 2 nights, as well as offering tours of... More

Stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. We were considering staying at Undara but decided to stay at Bedrock - a wise choice. Staff very friendly and welcoming, cabins clean, a reasonable size, had all the facilities you need and all in all it was a very relaxing stay. The staff, from all around the world, cooked/served a great roast... More

We had a powered drive thru site at Bedrock Village with lots of shady trees and easy access to the amenities. The site was partially partitioned by the well established tropical trees. Staff were friendly and helpful and the on site little general store carried all the essentials including fresh bread from the Ravenshoe Bakery. Each evening the staff provide... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on a powered site in our 23' caravan. All sites are drive-through and have hedges/trees between sites so they are fairly private. Good distance from highway so never heard any road noise. Owners Joe & Jo do their best with irrigation etc but the area hasn't had a wet season this year so everything... More

Checked into Bedrock Village caravan park in Mt Surprise. A delightful oasis in a rather severe landscape. Sites were tree shaded and each site was separated by gardens. The park management are very friendly and run many extra activities within the park including wood fire pizza evening and a sausage sizzle at a small cost. They also offer day excursions... More

We only set up our tent for the night, but the stay was very good. Surrounds are quite you get a good sleep and birds everywhere. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and service was fast, friendly and helpful. And all food is cooked on site.
