We only set up our tent for the night, but the stay was very good. Surrounds are quite you get a good sleep and birds everywhere. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and service was fast, friendly and helpful. And all food is cooked on site.

I can not believe that such a Caravanpark exist. This should be one the list of everyone that travels. A folder with all information that you need is handed to you on arrival. So well updated. Then you ate guided to your site which are very roomy. A meal and a beer at night for only $10 p/p. The amenities... More

If you are travelling along the Savannah Way Nth Queensland make sure you stop at the Bedrock Village in Mt Surprise. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you don't feel like cooking there is usually a meal to be bought at a very fair cost, great value. The facilities are spotless and are checked on regularly during the... More

We stayed at Bedrock as part of our Far North Queensland trip, and I found the accommodation very, very nice, and the surrounding countryside well worth a look at. The jewel in the Crown was the guided tours of the Kalkani Crater and The Arch at the Undara National Park - our guide was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to,... More

We stayed in one of the en-suite, air-conditioned cabins in the Tourist Park, close to the restaurant, as part of our "Savannahlander" tour. Although it was only for one night while we were visiting the Undara Lazva Tubes, we felt instantly at home and were staggered to find not one but TWO TV sets (one in the bedroom, another in... More

The park is cared for and constantly upgrading and adding new elements. They are such dedicated owners - who are definitely not scared from being there too long. Owners were delightful, always ready to have a chat and assist in you having a great experience. We stayed in a cabin (no ensuite) which we chose but no problem as the... More

We stayed 2 nights in a camper trailer and did the full day Lava Tube tour. Our guide Greg was fantastic; extremely knowledgable and very friendly. The staff at the park could not do enough for us and the bush poetry around the camp fire was a perfect way to end the day. A great place to stay!

Stayed at Bedrock Village in our van in a powered site for four nights, and it is run really well, with all the staff having a brilliant attitude, it's an example of how a park should be run...customer service with a smile is a refreshing change, would recommend it to all, they run an excellent tour to the Undara lava... We spent three nights in a 2 bedroom cabin recently and really enjoyed our time. The staff were lovely - especially Esther. We enjoyed our chicken parmigana meal on the first night - reasonable sized helping. We did the full day Undara Tour and would thoroughly recommend it. Our guide was Mack and he was excellent. Lots of information but... More
