Me and my partner stayed at the Bridge End for a romantic weekend away. The place was lovely! The rooms were very tastefully decorated, someting that prompted my booking in the first place after seeing them on the website. The staff at the Bridge End were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful! Hayfield is a picturesque little... more

We had booked for a romantic half term break. What an overpriced disappointment. The room was poorly furnished, heating switched off overnight and therefore cold. The bathroom was dirty - the saniflow loo leaked and complimentary bath products did not exist. The room felt unfinished - lack of skirting boards, loose electricial wiring and a kettle that had to be... more

Thank you to Bev for the fantastic customer service she provided from booking in to us leaving. We had a fantastic fresh breakfast (the best continental breakfast Ive had ). Rooms were clean, well decorated and the most comfortable bed and pillows, ensured we had a great nights sleep. The complementary snack box was great when i fancied a midnight... more

I loved all the personal extra touches, such as the box of complimentary... more

The second time I have stayed and it just gets better! I don't normally sleep through to 7am, but was actually woken up by my alarm clock. The bed was (again) so comfortable. I also had breakfast and the food was delicious, service impeccable and having stayed at one or two other local B&Bs will only ever go back to... more

The Bridge End which is set in the heart of Hayfield is a delightful escape from city life. I work in Interior Design and I was impressed by the decor and styling in this bed and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and my double room was stocked with light refreshments. The bed was so comfy I really... more
