Had a splendid coffee and bowl of chips here. All at sensible prices. Others in my party sampled the ale and full meals. No complaints.

A one night stay didn't stay for dinner but it looked nice breakfast 10 out of 10 really helpful in finding us bus/taxis was prewar ed on booking that room may be noisy as was above the bar it wasn't noisy at all though lovely open fire will be going back for weekend stay with family

We stayed here recently for a night in Room 4 which was nice and spacious with a big comfy bed. The furniture is a little dated but clean. We had a good nights sleep and there wasn't much noise from the bar below. The bathroom could do with an update, it only has a bath which doesn't have a shower... More

Loved the pub , best beer in the area, wonderful evening meals, friendly helpful staff. Just avoid the breakfast

Great character, excellent food, superb location and nice beer. What more could a girl wish for!

Food was very basic and equivilant to 1970's school dinners. Decent pub food served in the bar and a decent breakfast. Pretty basic room, however, the noise from the bar, rooms next door and people walking along the coridor could be heard very clearly, you could nearly have a conversation with them.
