Walking the St Cuthbert's way we ended our day in Morebattle but no phone signal! However our host noticed we were not on the bus to Kirk Yetholm so came out and found us! Warm welcome, beautiful accommodation. Amazing bathroom! Everything you could wish for. Very comfortable bed, very very quiet! Breakfast around a huge table with other guests, very... More

Three of us stayed here for one night while tackling St Cuthbert's Way and wished we could have stayed longer. A warm welcome from our hosts, superb accommodation and a splendid breakfast to set us on our way.

She mopped us up and booked a table at the Border Inn so that we could celebrate our arrival (at one point on the tops we had wondered if we... More

My husband and I stayed here having completed the 270 miles of the Penine Way. It was pure luxury. we paid a bit extra and got a family room/suite with 'jack and jill' bathroom. This place is quality, spacious, all amenities and friendly just a few minutes walk from The Border Hotel where you sign in, get a certificate and... More

Arrived here after 16 days walking on the Pennine Way to be greeted by the very friendly and welcoming David, who promptly ran me across town to the local shop before it closed (above & beyond!). My room was pure luxury, great comfy bed and powerful hot shower. Had to crack the windows to cool down as house is toasty... More

We wandered up to the local hotel for dinner and received a message that Clare would come and picked us up as it was raining heavily. What a lovely gesture!... More

We stayed in the suite, what a beautiful space. Clare and David were very helpful, from booking us a table at the Borders Hotel, to drying our boots and recommending places to eat at the next stage. Great breakfast.
