Stayed this week at cave castle. Unexpected, but got 1 room with 4 poster bed, huge, and comfy, and second room with huge bed, and fantastic bathroom. Beautiful grounds, very friendly and welcoming staff- all seemed keen to make the stay lovely. Food in restaurant was excellent, and breakfast very good. A lovely place to stay , just outside Hull,... More

Me and my husband got married here back in April and I cannot fault the venue at all. The grounds are truly spectacular and as picturesque as can be, The Service was amazing and Debbie, my wedding planner done a fantastic job (especially as we were planning from overseas!!!). The food was glorious and rooms were beautiful and well kept.... More

As many years ago I lived in South Cave my wife and I called in for some lunchtime food. The grounds are impressive and a joy, plus a good amount of car parking. On reception we were told that their in house bistro was open. Needs a little more signage to locate the room which is drab with no atmosphere... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a wedding. The wedding itself was lovely and very well organised. The wedding breakfast was excellent, roast beef and huge Yorkshire puddings. Sadly the hotel is looking very tired and the evening meal the night before the wedding was poor. The lamb was very fatty and the waitress quite un friendly...almost reluctant... More

We'll this hotel is nothing short of fantastic. What a lovely stay we had. Wish we were still there. The building is lovely. They keep many of the old features whilst maintaining a modern touch. We arrived, met by a very polite receptionist. All the staff seemed very friendly. The room we had, room 5 was exceptional. Lovely modern room... More

This hotel us as spectacular on the inside as it looks on the outside! Check it out! Beautiful reception area with wonderful fire place, terrific galleried staircase with baronial style paintings and lovely bedrooms. There's a relatively new pool and spa block but built to blend sympathetically with the older buildings. Our food from the Courtyard was excellent and matched... More

Stayed for three nights and four days golf. without doubt the best golf break ever. Amazing customer care. Outstanding food at breakfast and dinner , with sandwiches and chips for lunch included. Our party of twelve booked for next year before we left.

Had a great two days here on a group golfing stay. The staff were great throughout and really looked after us from start to finish. The food was really well cooked and presented and the accommodation was spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend to golfers and non golfers, fantastic value for money.

I stayed here with my partner for two nights for a wedding which included a 3 course meal the night before the wedding in March 2013. The hotel itself was imposing, grand and a sight to behold with spectacular grounds. The food: Food the night before the wedding was poor. I had salmon to start and it was just that... More
