We picked this hotel as it was geographically a good base to explore from. To be honest we were a bit apprehensive when we arrived as it was next to a 24 hour filling station with a little 24 hour shop attached but that was it! When we got into the hotel the most welcome greeting waited for us and... More

The lady on arrival was lovely and more then accommodating however there was only one person there to run the desk and do the cleaning through the day which left the hotel short. (In my opinion) the heat over the weekend was a lovely 23 degrees, the problem with this as the hotel is on the motorway you don't really... More

Very clean and.comfortable room with a very comfortable bed as advertised on the T V. Surprisingly quiet despite the main road. Very helpful and knowledgable receptionist told us about the area, local restaurants and takeaway etc, she also explained the hotel was due a full refurb. A road sign before the hotel would help as we realised we were passing it... More

I don't make a habit of staying at Travelodges having had a bad experience previously; however, I decided to opt for a less expensive stay for my friend's wedding recently and wasn't disappointed. Upon arrival, I was a bit perturbed - the South Cave Travelodge is right at the side of a major A road, so I was expecting it... More

Requested family room for two adults and two children for two nights. We all found the beds comfortable and of good size. The room was of adequate size allowing for movement even with the extra beds for the kids. Good supply of tea and coffee. Both the room and bathroom were clean. The water did get extremely hot and the... More

This is an excellant Travelodge with very friendly and knowledgable staff and the room was very comfortable but not yet refurbished. The nearest eatery is Brewersfayre about 8 miles away and is good. Well done everyone.

Basic hotel was clean - comfortable bed and quiet room - but t.v.was faulty, light also. Hot water varied - not always available. More important, I would advise any prospective client to keep their receipt. Travelodge insisted we owed them money, and harrassed us throughout our stay, trying to make us access our bank account and coming to our room to... More

we arrived as a party of 4 on Monday 27th April at about 9.50 p.m. were met by a lovely lady think her name was Katy, she was such a welcoming and good receptionist. Both rooms were very clean as were the bathrooms, linen and towels. The rooms are tired but immaculately clean. Although very close to a very busy... More

My son and I moved into the travel lodge. Because discovering asbestos in our house we had to move out immediately. It was a pleasant stay and the staff were helpful especially to my son who has special needs.

Returning in June 2015 so I think that speaks for itself. A very comfortable stay and can recommend the Travelodge for anyone wanting to stay in the area. It is close to the countryside and also Hull, York and surrounding small villages and towns
