This review regards the restaurant and environments, not the inn. We arrived late after visiting the Belogradchik Kaleto krepost. The place is designed as "Mechana", meaning old-style place, nicely decorated. There's a nice garden outside where I assume additional places can be set up in case large numbers of guests arrive. The food we had was tasty and arrived on... More

Well, a relaxing atmosphere, delicious dishes, friendly hosts basic inn could describe this place. You must try the delicious Torlak specialities. The rooms are spacious and clean but an unpleasant smell floated through all the rooms. Still, it is not a reason not to choose this charming place.

This family run inn has everything a visitor to the country could wish for: beautiful countryside, amazing home-cooked meals, and unrivaled hospitality. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the garden boasts a little pond, and there are a myriad of activities the owner can arrange: from wine tasting to mountain biking, you will find it here.

We stayed for only one night in the course of a whistlestop tour of Bulgaria. Our aim was the fortress and the Belochik Rocks. Both are worth a visit. The Madonna is basic but comfortable. The rooms are clean, have private bathrooms , and the host friendly and helpful. The lunch (late) and dinner were tasty . We did not... More

We spent 3 lovely days here. The rooms are clean. Large yard and country side sights. Many red rocks with different shapes and mountains surround the place. The personnel is very friendly: few of them master English language but they compensate by hopsitality. The local food is tasty. The prices are fair (in our opinion among the best in the... More

The hotel is set in a garden with beautiful views of the mountains. We opted to stay in a studio (amazing 35euros/night, incl. breakfast) - it was a very large room with double bed, sofa and coffee table. Very simple, but comfortable. The room was very clean, the bathroom could have been bigger. There is a mekhana - bulgarian traditional... More
