Pros: very close to Kichijoji train station; good base for visiting Studio Ghibli Museum and Edo-Tokyo Outdoor Museum; clean; surprisingly quiet given proximity to train platform; and good service. Price was reasonable by Tokyo standards. Cons: rooms were feeling a bit dated; as a family of three, we ended up with two rooms (both were fairly small), which meant that... More

This dated 1970's era hotel has recently refurbished its rooms, though apparently not its common areas. Rooms are very clean yet small, with simple prefab unit-bath cells. Beds are on the hard side, but matresses appear new. Rooms facing the station can be loud, thus ask for a courtyard room. The hotel's key feature is its location. It's just steps... More

The hotel is located a block from the train station. Many shops and eateries all within walking distance of the hotel. Room was good size, my double semi doubl was a king size bed. Park, zoo and children's museum within walking distance.

Fantastic location just steps from Kichijoji Station with easy access to the Chou and Keio train lines. The rooms are small by American hotel standards but have all the amenities one needs. Great shower! The mattress was firm and surprisingly comfortable. We stayed for 8 nights and slept well and never really experienced jet lag. For all that goes on... More

This hotel has a perfect location. The station, which is literally across the street, was never nearly as crowded as other areas such as Shibuya or Shinjuku, so you don't have to worry about feeling claustrophobic at this stop. The hotel itself was nice, the elevators are fast, the staff lends you a blow dryer, fan, etc for no cost,... More

Conveniently located just 5 mins walk from Kichijoji station. The hotel is clean and it is easy to find food and do some shopping. The room is a bit small but yet cosy. If you are looking at a place to stay away from the busy and noisy central district, do consider this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay for 2 nights here! Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice size room and toilet. Hotel just located a street away from the JR (Tokyo/Shinjuku) and KEIO (Shibuya) station, and a close walk to nearby cafes, restaurants as well as convenience stores, as well as the park. Shopping malls that carry local and imported products are also very easily... More

Pros - Very considerate cleaning staff! They put a tissue over my tea cup to keep dust from getting in. - Conveniently located practically right across from the station. - They provide a nice map of fun places. - Walkable to Ghibli museum. Cons - Hair dryer force is virtually nil. - Must always check in room key whenever you... More

As others have said, this hotel is about 2 minutes walk from the Kichijoji JR station and about 5 minutes walk from Inokashira park. The hotel lobby is up a level from the street. On one side of the hotel the rooms are slightly larger but the windows are frosted glass so you can't see out. Smaller rooms on the... More

I had a few days for tourism and to see some friends in Kichijoji. This hotel is just a two minute walk from the staion. The rooms are Japenese size, but are fine. My room had a good size desk which was very handy for using my laptop etc. There was a good buffet breakfast for about $13. There was an... More
