I stayed in the studio with my two children (10 and 7) and we had the best time. The studio was great -it has everything you could need including olive oil and vinegar! A welcome detail as we eat salads and did not have to buy big bottles we would not have finished. The place was spotless and charming. I... More

We had almost a week here in this very pleasant house. The owners, Albert and Marlene have perfected the presentation of Bed and Breakfast to an ideal standard. The rooms are spacious and sparely furnished in pleasing style. Breakfast is a delight.

This delightful well presented b&b in the heart of a small town was a perfect base for my partner and I whilst we were checking out the languedoc region. Albert and Marlene were excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable never intrusive but always on hand should you need them. The free wifi is definitely a plus and also if your... More

We were caught in the rain on our bicycle tour. We rolled into town and by chance ran into Marlene and Albert, just getting ready to enter their lovely B&B. They luckily had a room available. We were so thankful and it was just what we needed after a long day of cycling. We enjoyed the comfy bed and all... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was a great base from which to explore. The rooms are very light, airy and large. Bathrooms were well fitted and had all the necessary facilities. Breakfasts are simple but adequate. The owners are extremely friendly and can't do enough to help you. The town itself is not partiality attractive but this is... More

We stayed here early last week and loved it. Just a shame we weren't staying longer. Owners are delightful and helpful. The room we had was on the third floor (the owner took our luggage up for us! Very nice touch). The room was bigger than expected, bright, nice and clean, very quiet, lovely comfortable bed. We highly recommend this... More

Enjoyed several days at Maison Allene. Albert and Marlene were lovely hosts and their Chambre d'Hote is delightful. Sitting in the courtyard in the sunshine sipping the local rose wine was a treat. The rooms are charming and quite spacious and the breakfast of croissants, bread, cheese, eggs, etc. was a great start to the day.

I had a very nice stay here, mostly due to Albert and Marlene who are great hosts. You can see that they are passionate about their work, yet they are very professional and find a great balance between being helpful and respecting the privacy of their guests. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was very good, too. Highly recommended.

What a find Maison Allene was! We just had to write to confirm that everything we had read about this charming little guest house is true. Our hosts, Albert and Marlene, made us very welcome and comfortable and their local knowledge truly made the difference. Lezignan-Corbieres is a charming small town with quite a lot of eating places representing several... More

When I told my husband we were taking an hour’s deviation from the Canal du Midi at the end of a long day of bicycling to stay at Maison Allene, he commented that it better be a great hotel. Unfortunately, there was major construction going on in the area, so it actually ended up taking us more than 1-1/2 hours... More
