Great gem of a place tucked away in a small French town. Albert and Marlene were super nice and attentive to our needs. The bed was large for Europe and was very comfortable. Recommend taking an evening walk to the park nearby and pick up a delicious snack at the patisserie across the street on the way back. We hit... More

The hosts, Albert and Marlena, were perfectly courteous and attentive, providing an exemplary reception, pleasantly complete breakfast, and informed suggestions regarding the sites to be visited to the south (e.g., Cucugnan) and north (e.g., Minerve, not to be missed!). The chamber we enjoyed for three nights was spacious, attractively appointed, and impeccably clean. There's an interior courtyard as engagingly stylish.... More

We spent only 2 nights with Albert & Marlene (as in Marlene Dietrich). We occupied two rooms and had a wonderful time. Their B&B is near a couple of great restaurants - both the italian and Coco Sweet. The location is great for going to Narbonne - Carcasonne or to the beaches near Perpignan all in a short drive. The... More

When we booked this Chambre D'hotes we saw the pictures on the websites. The pictures are good but in real it's even better. De owners are very nice en they served a good and big breakfest. The village has a good restaurant en Narbonne is near by. I recommended to everyone. More

We spent 6 nights at this wonderful B & B in july. We celebrated our honeymoon and the owners really made our honeymoon memorable. The service was great, the room lovely and breakfast was superb! The restaurant nextdoor, coco, was just as lovely. You HAVE to visit this place! More

I've never written a review before, but I couldn't help myself because the experience at Maison Allene was beyond wonderful, so I had to share. Albert and Marlena went well out of their way to welcome me into their home and help guide me through the region. It was Bastille Day and they devised a plan of action to get... More

This is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed at. I booked a short holiday with my mom and 18 month old baby. We booked the two rooms on the top floor. Albert and Marlene went out of their way to ensure our stay was happy and comfortable. They are absolutley superb hosts! The location of... More

From the moment of arrival at Lezignan train station a phone call to hosts Albert and Marlene had a taxi safely deliver us to the wonderful Maison Allene where a very warm welcome was just the start of a delightfully relaxed two day stay before navigating the Canal du Midi from close by Argens. Our room, one of just four,... More

Just returned from a three night stay. It is a lovely small upscale B and B located in the heart of a working wine making village. The owners, Albert and Marlene, are very nice people and know the area very well. Each morning we discussed ideas with them as to what to do and they provided excellent tips which we... More

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the the Maison Allene. Our hosts greeted us by carrying our luggage up to our room for us, then chatted with us in the stunning private courtyard with a glass of local wine. They both speak fluent, accentless English, as well as 3 other languages. We tried each of their 3 restaurant recommendations,... More
