Beautifully old hotel only 2 miles from RAF coningsby - this place is steeped in history, has a cosy lounge with log fire, great staff, excellent food, lovely rooms....whats not to like! We visited in October, however i re kon it would be gorgeous in the summer as it has a large lawn with tables and chairs and a childrens... More

Stayed here with colleagues as we were working at Coningsby. Had a clean, tidy large room with a canopied double bed and settee. There was a whirlpool bath in the bathroom which just shouted "Try me try me" so I did. Excellent. The bathroom was to a high standard. We stopped for four nights and found he service and food excellent.... More

I stayed here whilst attending the 3 Lancasters display at the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre! The pub and restaurant area are very traditional and unspoilt! My room at the side overlooking the large garden was large, very comfortable and very clean and tidy. The road passing the Leagate is quite busy so expect some traffic noise! I was well looked after... More

I chose to visit the Leagate as I had a visitor staying who had a dog and couldn't be left with mine! I had visited previously and had enjoyed a really nice meal with family. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating. However, on this visit I was disappointed with both the welcome and the standard of the meal. The waitress... More

My wife and child used to eat here nearly every Sunday. Firstly I'm not going to knock the food, it's pretty decent for the area. Recently we visited and ordered as per but the printer broke so the kitchen never received it. Not the end of the world but after 2 hours (and a 2 year old needs to eat)... More

We booked two double rooms for one night and both couples agreed that one night was long enough. Check in was quick with minimal information given to us about the hotel. The rooms were both large and light, overlooking the gardens. They looked clean but on closer inspection the bathroom was not up to the standard we would expect. The... More

This is the third time I have been to the Leagate Inn but this last time, the Fish Pie was to die for, it was full of fish, Salmon, Haddock, prawns it was delicious to say the least. The Baileys cheesecake was was so light and tasty. The Leagate Inn is like a Tardis it seems to go on and... More

It is an ideal place to stay when visiting family, and would suit those on mixed budgets with different expectations of comfort. Its a modern conversion which has retained its charm, and has lovely grounds at the back with an adventure playground for kids. Dogs were welcome. Parking was good ..

With the imminent arrival of the Lancaster Bomber from Canada, we decided to visit RAF Coningsby (home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) and see both Lancasters together. We wanted a hotel as near to the RAF base as possible. Arrived late afternoon and checked in. Our room was lovely. Very clean, quite large and nicely furnished. The bathroom... More

On arrival the room was lovely, then downhill from there. The food wasn't up to great standards, wilted brown lettuce and over cooked rustic chips. The room wasn't made up or touched when we returned after a day out .... The walls are thin and you could hear conversations from neighbouring room. The water pipes sang very loudly. The food...
