We have been to the Leagate on Christmas eve for the past 6 years for a bite to eat and thoroughly enjoy it. The pub has a nice friendly atmosphere good beer and lovely food. We also come here on Valentines. Once again it came up trumps and we shall certainly come again.

Having not eaten at the Leegate for many years thought it would be a nice change but was soon to find a very different Leegate. No greeting on arrival, food mediocre and overpriced, sevice hopeless, young untrained barstaff, no lemon for a G&T, and when my friend paid the bill and gave a 10% tip [no idea why?] the chap... A chance find in mid-Lincolnshire, but a quite decent Sunday lunch on a cold winter's day. A maze of corridors, oak panelling, and lots of nooks and crannies to sneak into. The roaring fire was most welcoming.

Beautifully old hotel only 2 miles from RAF coningsby - this place is steeped in history, has a cosy lounge with log fire, great staff, excellent food, lovely rooms....whats not to like! We visited in October, however i re kon it would be gorgeous in the summer as it has a large lawn with tables and chairs and a childrens... More

Stayed here with colleagues as we were working at Coningsby. Had a clean, tidy large room with a canopied double bed and settee. There was a whirlpool bath in the bathroom which just shouted "Try me try me" so I did. Excellent. The bathroom was to a high standard. We stopped for four nights and found he service and food excellent.... More

I stayed here whilst attending the 3 Lancasters display at the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre! The pub and restaurant area are very traditional and unspoilt! My room at the side overlooking the large garden was large, very comfortable and very clean and tidy. The road passing the Leagate is quite busy so expect some traffic noise! I was well looked after... More

I chose to visit the Leagate as I had a visitor staying who had a dog and couldn't be left with mine! I had visited previously and had enjoyed a really nice meal with family. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating. However, on this visit I was disappointed with both the welcome and the standard of the meal. The waitress... More

My wife and child used to eat here nearly every Sunday. Firstly I'm not going to knock the food, it's pretty decent for the area. Recently we visited and ordered as per but the printer broke so the kitchen never received it. Not the end of the world but after 2 hours (and a 2 year old needs to eat)... More

We booked two double rooms for one night and both couples agreed that one night was long enough. Check in was quick with minimal information given to us about the hotel. The rooms were both large and light, overlooking the gardens. They looked clean but on closer inspection the bathroom was not up to the standard we would expect. The... More
