John and Barbara are two of the nicest people we met on our trip. Every morning Barbara sends you off on your adventure with a full belly and a lot of thought for the day. She is genuinely interested in getting to know her guests and aims to please with each breakfast. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the house... More

Caheroyan House was my favorite B&B in Ireland and I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Ireland. Barbara is what I consider to be the ideal B&B host - striking just the right balance between friendliness and professionalism. She was happy to tell us the history of the farm and town, make recommendations, and chat with us... More

Beautiful place, located on an organic farm. The grounds are great for walking, and it is not far from the historic Athenry Arch and some very nice restaurants. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet and the hosts are friendly and available. I had a great stay.

Catheroyan House is the perfect place to relax, while you explore beautiful Southern Ireland. John and Barbara are friendly, warm and very welcoming. The rooms in the B&B are clean and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. Barbara cooked wonderful Irish breakfasts and there was also a selection of breads, cereals etc. The farm was an added bonus enabling... More

I honestly cannot say whether we enjoyed the house/stay because we did not stay a night. We however did book a room with the Caheroyan House through their website. I specifically informed them in writing that we had PREPAID VOUCHERS from B&B Ireland and asked if they accepted them as I did see them on that site originally. I asked... More

Beautiful old house with modern facilities. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated. With three energetic boys we were glad that the rooms are as good as sound proof! we had a delicious breakfast - it stayed the boys favourite throughout the holiday! Barbera and John were more than helpful and friendly.

Spent five nights here in the main manor house with my wife on a bed and breakfast basis and I can only describe my stay as fabulous! Barbara our host was welcoming, friendly, knowledgable of the local area and history and importantly a brilliant cook!! Quite simply the best breakfast I have had anywhere. Real irish sausage hand made by... More

Two nights spent here, the rooms were of a good size and were clean. I was happy to hear of the private water supply until I ran a bath, I was alarmed to find a bath full of yellow water...... The host was very welcoming. Comfy beds and clean towels welcomed. The guest house is set in beautiful countryside and... More

I travel quite a lot and have never had as good an Irish (or full Engish) breakfast as that on offer here. Huge choice, cooked for you while you wait, with the best sausages ever, locally sourced, from Brady's Butchers in Athenry. The old house is of fine proportions and stands in its own land, so offering peace and quiet... More

I booked this B&B last minute solo trip to Athenry and I was delighted they had a room. Upon arriving the greeting received from Barbara was so warm and welcoming. The house is beautiful and full of character inside and out, and situated very close to the town. My bedroom was perfect and the added bonus of a balcony to... More
