Our fave getaway to date. The relaxing fireplace in Suite 2 more than made up for the bad weather outside! Loved the decor- very contemporary and clean! The 'big breakfast' was magnificent and Peter was a very attentive host.

What can I say about George's... The simple fact that I have lost track of the number of time we have stayed there, says it all. My husband and I have been regular guests since the first week it opened it's doors and it is our first choice for a peaceful, relaxing and luxurious getaway. We have also enjoyed one... More

We stayed at George's on a Sunday night and was very happy to find out we were the only ones staying there for the night. Peter was a fantastic host and has a lovely dry sense of humour. At our arrival, he told us the couple from the night before had left a really nice bottle of Rose and asked... More

My wife and I were delighted with our Georges experiences. Wonderful host, food, wine, and part of the world. The view is spectacular as well. I can highly recommend Georges if you are looking for a refresh from rigorous city living.

We stayed here for one night in the Mornington Penisula. We stayed in Suite 3. The room was huge, modern, clean and luxurious. IT got a bit chilly in the evenings. I suppose because we were in the corner unit and close to Arthur's Seat. A fireplace would have sealed the deal but a reverse cycle air conditioner will have... More

The B&B has fantastic views over the peninsula ffrom the lounge area and most of the rooms. Room 4 , our room didn't but we had full use of the lounge area so this didm;t matter. The B&B was very quiet although all rooms were occupied. The decor is very modern and the rain shower is fabulous. Extensive choice for... More

I went to George's B&B for a little outing with my boyfriend for only two nights in the first week of January (we would've loved to stay longer but started back at work the following week!). Room 4 was lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed the modern design, kind recommendations from our host Peter (restaurants / site attractions), beautiful location and the... More

From the moment we were greeted by Peter the host we were transported to a little island of luxury and calm. Fantastic positioned on Arthur's seat and with great views. Near the Red Hill area for wine tasting, good restaurants etc. great room with a fantastic view. Breakfast was a delight. Peter was very helpful in suggesting places to go... More

I organised a night at George's to propose to my girlfriend (she said yes, by the way). I contacted Peter several weeks out and he was extremely helpful in giving me advice and helping with the logistics. We stayed in Room 2 and it exceeded my expectations - the view, the little fire place, the huge bed, the massive bathroom... More

The cosy rooms were beautifully appointed with minimalistic pieces. Clean, crisps Egyptian cotton sheets, Molton Brown toiletries, equipped little kitchenette with T2 teas & coffees. Peter, our host, was most gracious and attentive. Met him at the bar where served us our pre-cocktail drinks (we had a wedding at Port Phillip Estate to attend later that evening) whilst telling us... More

Your Mornington Peninsula accommodation here is a stone's throw from award-winning wineries, quality local produce, world class golf courses, marine activities, art galleries, walking tracks and natural spa treatments. The base for your stay is an architecturally designed masterpiece. The stunning Port Phillip Bay views from the balcony alone make the stay worthwhile. George's isn't just another B&B. George's hosts an exclusive gourmet cooking school retreat. The retreat runs periodically throughout the year, catering from beginner to budding chef extraordinaire. We run intimate group settings, 8 per group, so you will always have access to our master chef instructor. Each retreat will have its own theme, perhaps with a Tuscan or Moroccan based feel selecting the finest produce from local markets. When you're not cooking up a storm maybe a spa treatment or round of golf might interest you. Whatever your taste our themes are sure to satisfy! Inside, local art lines the walls among boutique style modern furnishing and your sanctuary away from it all is completed by king size beds with crisp white linen (Egyptian cotton) and a thoughtful collection of pillow fillings.
