Visited the hotel July 2014 and stayed a weekend with friends. The hotel is fantastic with beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The room we got was big, clean and cozy, plus the view of the vineyards great!!!! I definitively recommend this hotel, plus as a tip, we visited the town of Penafiel and visited Protos wine... More

A nice little hotel, deep in the Spanish countryside - good for one or two days, but not much more. Unlike the older rooms, the newer ones are nothing special - just very functional. The dinner menu is rather limited - don't come here if you are vegetarian! Very friendly staff and goos service.

I have stayed here many times, the service is exceptional, staff are very attentive and cannot do enough for you Restaurant is surprisingly good and great value for money It's true the new wing is a world apart from the older rooms, but just ask for a room in new wing and they will accommodate Make sure you do the... This is a quaint place to stay. I would recommend it. The positives, gorgeous grounds and friendly staff. Someone at the front desk helped us get last minute tour at a nearby winery when all the others were booked up. (Tip: If you are visiting the region and plan on going wine tasting, you MUST make reservations at the wineries... More

Stayed for one night heading from Madrid toward Girona. Arrived early afternoon and learned they were only running one tour/tasting per day, at 10:30am. Combination of slower tourist time plus harvest season, apparently. We had a large room but fairly dated. Looked like the newer wing, which we heard was nicer, was completely closed, probably for slow season. The location... More

We selected Hotel Torremilanos after reading about it on this website and were glad we did. Our primary reason for coming was to visit wineries in the Ribera del Duero, and we wanted a hotel centrally located to the region. You definitely need a rental car to stay here, but only 90 minutes north of Madrid, Torremilanos is itself a... More

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. A good and/or bad feature of the hotel is its located just off a major highway. Even though it's on a major highway it doesn't feel that way once you get on the property - parking is also free which is nice. The day reception was much better than the night reception... More

A very grand drive up from the N122 and just off the A1 motorway. Ideally  located for overnight stop on way to or from Santander/Bilbao ferry ports on the way north or south.  Reception staff not all smiling but the young lady behind reception was exceptionally helpful despite her limited english.  Good free wifi in hotel. Grounds are immaculate and... More
