Barcelona isn't my favourite city in the world but coming back to this hotel each night was lovely. We arrived in Barcelona late after having our flight cancelled so decided to get a taxi, it cost 50 euros which I suppose is a bit expensive but we were tired so thought it well worth it at the time! The hotel... More

Sercotel is quite far from the centre of Barcelona...You have to find personal solutions for reaching to centre ..We recommend to get a taxi wherever you want to go in Barcelona...Taxi prices not so high. But I think this hotel is wrong choice for especially persons who wants to explore to Barcelona .The hotel's area is not a suitable for tourists... Me and boyfriend stayed here beginning of October for a short break of 4 days. We had a bad experience in the taxi ride from the airport to our hotel which put us already in a bad mood! Anyway, when we got to the hotel it wasn't exactly in the best place, the street wasn't the cleanest. When we got... More

The hotel is ideal and handily located if you wish to visit Barcelona and surrounding areas, but I would not recommend if you intend to spend your days at the hotel by the pool. The main reason we booked was that the rooms were en-suite, similar facilities in Barcelona were a lot more expensive, and even similar or slightly more... More

Mr R.Stokes Went to this hotel in August after booking through Easy jet holidays. Booked for 5 nights, stayed for about 1 hour!! Awful hotel, poor area, awful smell in room, windows damp, corridor carpets dirty, I could go on. Had to check myself and my party into a Marriott to salvage my holiday at extra expense to me. Easy... More

I have just checked out from The Sercotel Ciutat de Montcada. The experience in the hotel was great and it is very well located. 1- Experience: Everyone was great, Theservice was impeccable and everybody was ready to help with a big smile (special mention to Gaston the Argentinian night recepcionist that was very nice and helpful to find places to... We arrived about 8ish on a Saturday evening, but there was no place to eat, as restaurant did not open on a Saturday, Sunday and when we did sit down for a meal on the Monday evening the meal was only half cooked so sent it back, to which seemed to put the waiting staff out, on the plus side... We stayed at the hotel for three nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very good -- the shower was set up like a mini-wetroom. We found the staff friendly and helpful, although we made few demands of them. One problem is that there is insufficient storage space for... More

This hotel has everything you want, but it's placed in the middle of nowhere outside Barcelona. It's a supermarket in the same building as the hotel, but no restaurants in the vicinity. It's about 100 meters to the railway station, but the trains are going only every 45 minutes. It's about 25 minutes ride to Plaza de Catalunya. As I... More

The hotel is nice. Overall it is clean. The staff weren't super helpful. There is nothing close by. We stayed here on a Saturday which should be the most busy night. The only restaurant within walking distance really was a sandwich place that was ok. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, but they were not open to us because... More
