Just a few rooms placed in a fine architecture, filled up with all kind of painting, sculptures and photographies. The main road to the cape is not busy at night, so even the front side / sea view rooms are quiet in the night. No direct access to the beach, the fire house is not within walking distance. Better late than never. We spend 3 nights in the Ocean Art House end of October 2011 in the Blue Horizon Room (The Zauberberg and Violet Whale rooms didn't exist at the time of booking). Very comfortable 2 night stay in very clean, modern accommodation. Superb views of the ocean too. We booked dinner for our first night which was nicely served but we weren't offered a choice - and not all of us like fish! However, the breakfasts were good. This hotel lived up to it's billing. You really are given the opportunity to sleep in a modern art gallery! Beautiful room with all mod cons, superb bed and aircon, wifi and excellent shower facilities. Spent a lovely two days at Ocean Art House, Cape Agulhas. It feels a little bit like home after hikes to the most southerly point of Africa or a tour in the wine area. Excellent diner.

If you like contemporary living, then this is the place. Each room is decorated with original works of art. The whole place is very clean and most welcoming. Grant is a great host and makes the most awesome breakfast!!! Can't wait until I make a second visit.

Cape Agulhus is the southern-most point in SA - and the Art House is a great place to stay. Very welcoming host in Grant, and lovely breakfast. Large spacious room too - nice to be able to spread out.

The OceanArtHouse is not just a B&B. The service and the food (dinner is also available) was absolutly unexpectet and surprised us positively. Grant and his team are the perfect hosts. High recommendet and a must for Cape Aghulas visitors. Try also the breakfast, prepared with love and style.

Must stay here when you arrive. Owner is a character, view is amazing, brand new. A must.!
