We stayed here for a week on our honeymoon. The staff greeted us enthusiastically and seemed comcerned we had arrived earlier than expected - when they took us to the room it became clear why: they had prepared champagne and candles on our arrival in one of the fantastic trulli rooms! Outstanding service, so friendly and helpful, the food in... more

Me and my husband had a wonderful experience at Abate Masseria. The hotel is small, quiet and I highly recommend staying at one of the Trulli. They are beautifully appointed, spacious and perfect for a romantic getaway ! Some reviewers complained that the pool didn't have a bar to complement it - problem solved - they've just built it and... more

This hotel is very nice and the receptionists are very friendly. Our Trullo (106) was lovely, spacious, comfortable and really well appointed. The hotel restaurant was also very good - coud not fault the quality but a little formal and lacked variety - wouldn't have wanted to eat there every night. Also found it a little irritating that the hotel... more

A mini oasis in the rural charm of Puglia. The hotel is small with only 8 rooms and absolutely perfect for a quiet romantic break. I wouldn't advise to bring children , especially teenagers, but they wouldn't be unwelcome. The rooms are original trullis with air con and flat screen tvs with sky. The staff are v friendly and helpful.... more

We visited the hotel as we were interested in the place as a possible location for our wedding reception. The place was beautiful and the people kind and amazing. The hotel is composed by a series of very nice trulli, with indipendent entrances, a restaurant and a swimming pool. We did not choose the location for the wedding as we... more

This is place is great. the rooms are spotlessly clean and the service is friendly and effiicient. The Trulli's have been very sympathetically renovated. The restaurant at this hotel is fantastic- well worth a visit even if you arent staying at the hotel. Overall a really good hotel and fantastic value for money. I would happily recommend to anyone. more

Abate Masseria is a lovely, relaxed resort, which is well kept and friendly. We had the trulli suite, which was great, and found the service very good - it was disappointing that it was closed Sunday and Monday, but there is a nice pizzeria (Barsento) just down the road (we did drive, but it would have been a short walk).... more

Very nice hotel. Architecturally interesting...old trulli farmhouse...we stayed in one of the converted stables which was great but a little dark. Bathroom was clean but not exactly luxurious. Semi-private outdoor area was beautiful, bursting with lavender. Staff friendly and helpful; pool was clean, pretty, and refreshing; good food. Great base to explore Northern Puglia. Only drawback is the location...it's a... more

This is a deilghtful small Masseria, recently converted, where most of the accommodation is in trulli houses. The agent, Long Travel (very helpful by the way) call the property 'Il Nocino' because it is near Noci. They recommended room 106 as the best, and that's what we had. It consists of three connected trulli - bedroom, sitting room and shower... more

We stayed at Abate Masseria for 7 nights in June. It is a beautiful hotel - the restored trullo is stunning and the pool area and surrounding countryside is just lovely. The staff are very friendly indeed and the standard of food in the resaturant was good. The problem we found with the resort was the lack of service -... more
