We spent wonderful days at Bekaru Lodge and were spoilt by the host Dan and owners Urte and Bernhard. Beautifully located near Hunters Lodge and in walking distance to the Zinzi Restaurant. The lodge consist of large bedrooms excellently decorated with great bathrooms and with a fireplace for cosy winter days, set in a large garden with a beautiful 25m... More

This lodge gives you peace just by driving up the drive way. Surrounded by woods, but you find yourself in an open space. Heartily welcomed by 3 supersweet and loving dogs... lovely! The rooms are huge and the interior of the lodge is rustique. I loved it! Too bad we only spend one night here. One to remember and to... More

The most friendly atmosphere in a fantastic, luxury and nicely furnished villa made us forgetting the dreadful weather over Easter. The German owners, Bernhard and Urte, who were making holidays in their own home at the same time, gave us the best advice how to spend rainy days with three children in the Plettenberg area, and there is plenty to... We stayed five unforgettable days in Bekaru. There was nothing we didn't totally enjoy. Starting with the location, it was very close to everything, e.g. the most popular attractions, parks, shopping centers, Plettenberg Bay City, a big amount of beautiful beaches nearby. Also the lovely restaurant Zinzi was about 500m away. The lodge itself was furnished with such a lovely... More

We spent 4 days at the Bekaru Lodge and are sure of having found the best place to stay in that area! The Lodge is fantastic and you really feel "at home" after days at the beach or any places of interest in the area. The whole Lodge - of course also all rooms - are luxuriously furnished and decorated... More

Beautiful rooms, tastefully furnished, stunning art. And if you really have to, there is TV, DSTV, etc, etc. Outside are tall gumtrees, lots of bird life, lovely lawns and gardens with free range hens here and there. Dean is the perfect host and his breakfasts are pretty good as well ! This is an establishment I would recommend and I... More

Everything has been designed & created with purpose and it all works beautifully!! We had an amazing time with pleasant inter-action between staff and management. The place is so peaceful you really get the feel that you have escaped civillaztion!! The fireplaces are a real treat on the more chilly evenings and the rooms are spacious that even indoors is...
