The area is breathtakingly beautiful. My room had a balcony and view, an important thing to request as half the rooms don't have a view as they face the back. I was able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset - stunning. The pool was exceptionally clean and good sun loungers. The food here good too. My only... More

I spent a week in the hotel with a group of other walkers. The view from the hotel over to the Apuan Alps is delightful and the hotel is ideally placed for exploring the tranquil Garfagnana countryside. I had everything to make a walking holiday perfect - good food, particularly the hearty soups,a comfortable room with a lovely sunny terrace,... More

Beautiful location with great facilities and excellent restaurant. Free parking. Free wifi in public areas. Room and bathroom were spotless as was the rest of the hotel. Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the pool and some local walks. Good breakfast. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Restaurant meal was very reasonably priced and probably the best we have ever had.

Visited family in the Tuscan mountains for three days. Chose this hotel because of its proximity to all of the family. The family that owns and runs the hotel and restaurant are particularly friendly, openly conversation, and great hosts. The upkeep and maintenance of the hotel and the individual rooms is superb. The family made the meals, served them, and... More

This family run hotel, set in the heart of the Garfagnana, gave us a truly memorable four night stay. On arrival, we were told by the owner, Tizziano, that the VIP room we had booked was unfortunately unavailable due to a problem with the bathroom. Whilst we were initially disappointed, the room which he then offered us more than made... More

We stayed for 9 days in Belvedere and have been completely satisfied. Warm welcome from the owner and staff, good restaurant providing typical local food. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, even on the street side, and we could rest comfortably. Activities in the hotel are interesting, large swiming pool and tennis court with breathtaking view over the Alpi Apuane mountains.... More
