4th visit and as good if not better than first. we went to a neighboring village to see their carnival and really enjoyed it. We also went to see the Koblenz carnival, fantastic 2:15 of nothing but fun, they throw sweets and some "goodies" to the crowd. We had such a good time. The Hotel is very good if I... More

My personal arrival was in a childs seat No 1 of a HARRY SHAW of COVENTRY coach Booked negligently. The Hotel at right angles to the twin peaks of the feuding brothers and close to the Rhine. The meals were varied to a degree the soups and vegetables the latter cooked in sauces, as were the meat dishes but apart... More

Just returned from 5 days at the Wagner Hotel. Lovely hotel and the staff were amazing, Andreas the owner was there to meet and greet us. Our room was clean and satisfactory, but the bathroom was compact and the hand basin was in the main bedroom. Towels were changed each day. Food was very good and the New Years Eve... More

Returned last Saturday from a four night stay here and it was brilliant. Everyone, the chef, waiters and bar staff, were very helpful. The owner was a great host. Rooms were pretty basic but very clean and warm. Chamber maids worked everyday, inc Christmas. Fab views from room 51. Bit of a rabbit warren but once you get your bearings,... More

Stayed here for two nights on a visit to local Christmas markets. The hotel has a fine situation situation on the banks of the Rhine.Rooms are large and spacious as well as being well-heated .There are plenty of chairs ,although the TV is a little small and old-fashioned.Breakfast and dinner have little choice but the food is good and service is... A clean hotel, breakfast is continental style, sadly we seem to have been the final guests of the year and they ran out of bread on our last morning meaning that some guests had no option for toast. Evening meals were good. Andreas greeted us when we arrived...we never saw him after that. In the evenings staff were friendly but... More

The hotel is run by a family who are very nice and who cater for all tastes. The room we had was no 22 - a family room which was large - it had a large double bed, single bed , sofa, table with 2 chairs and double sink - it also had an adjoining shower and toilet. Room was... More

We stayed here Monday to Thursday and LOVED it. The location is great, a short walk from the Rhine and set in a picturesque little town, again like other people, we arrived late but we still given a warm welcome and decent meal. The food in general was fine, and I'm a fussy eater! The room was clean and perfectly... More

We stayed here to visit the Xmas markets on the Rhine, with Skills. The hotel is in a lovely location and we had a wonderful view from our balcony (3rd floor) overlooking the hills and Rhine. We arrived late and the staff still provided us with an excellent meal and hospitality. The owner takes pride in his hotel and always... More

Just spent the weekend here visiting the Christmas markets around The Rhein, what a terrific Hotel , Andreas the owner is always on hand and the staff are marvellous. Gorgeous breakfast with a good variety of foods plus the evening meals are scrumptious. I will defiantly recommend this Hotel !
