We had a 5 night break at this hotel in early July. The hotel its self is a reasonably traditional German 'Gasthof', family run, quite small and with fairly basic amenities. The room we had was at the front of the hotel on the second floor, it was a reasonable size and newly refurbished. The double bed (two single mattresses in a double bed frame) was extremely comfortable, very firm yet comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, good powerful shower, although occasionally fluctuating temperature. Rooms don’t have aircon, so you have to have the windows open, which does mean you hear the traffic, but it wasn’t too bad. The view of the Rhein just across the road makes up for the traffic noise. The hotel doesn’t have a beer garden, but you have a few tables on the pavement where you can sit watching the world go past. Parking is opposite the hotel which is very easy.
