Situated on the edge of a spa town (you know, past its prime but abundant with 'old glory') Le Manoir des Alberges is a B&B that I can heartily recommend. We had the Gala suite, which gives you the entire top floor. Well-appointed, warm bathrobes, the works. The hosts give you a warm welcome and are great, the food is... More

I stayed at Le Manoir des Alberges for 4 nights before joining a group for the Tour de France. It was the perfect place to begin my trip in the Alps. My room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was satisfying and the hotel is a short walk to the center of Uriage. But the best part were the hosts... More

Very rude and obnoxious behaviour by the management! The property looked very nice on the web. We booked a room, paid in advance in full. In the morning of the arrival our car broke down and could not be repaired for the next three days. We had to cancel the whole five-day trip. We called the property and Bruno was... More

Although you wrote a long story, some important parts are still missing but they very likely were too disadvantageous to you . To make a long story short, as per our sales conditions, the amount you paid for 1 night is not refundable in case of cancellation within the arrival day, moreover 6 hours before arrival and on Assumption day. Anyway,... More

We were on a weeks cycling tour of the Alpes and Le Manoir was our first overnight stop. Wow what can I say, due to some navigation errors we found ourselves completely lost. Fortunately one of our group had been picked up by the broom wagon and was at Le Manoir and spoke to Bruno, who found out where we... More

A perfect centre for the French alps and to recover from the long flight. Excellent preparation, reception, ambience, facilities, and fantastic food for breakfast and dinner. The pool was a joy after the hot days activities and would be excellent for any future bike riding trips. Will be back.

The glam photos do not do convey the warmth of our experience. Bruno and Pascal and Lion (the dog) immediately made us feel like friends returning to the a familiar place. This was our first stop, for two nights, after flying into Lyon, and it was a perfect place to recover from jet lag--quiet, with a sunny view over the... More

We arrived at Hotel at 2.30pm to find the entrance closed,we tried by banging on the door to get somebody to answer, but apart from a dog barking from inside there was no sign of life.I walked around the hotel but could not find anybody, the garden was overgrown and the swimming pool empty,I would have taken photos but my mobile was... Bad experience indeed to get a review from someone you never met or even talked to, 2 months after their no-show ! Our sales conditions available on all web sites and joined to our deposit invoice sent to you mention arrival from 4:00PM. You said you arrived at 2:30PM and then decided to leave without any phone call or message... More

We stayed in Le Manoir des Alberges in Uriage les Bains for an all-too-brief 4 days (May 27 to May 31). The couple who run this inn are the most friendly and helpful we have encountered in many years of travel. They knew all the best places to hike in the Alps, where to eat, where to buy gas, and... on our journey through we spent one night in this nice manoir. Our super clean and remodeled room - and I suppose the others too - was very tasty and lovingly decorated with anything your heart desires. The owner couple Pascale and Bruno let you feel like being at home. The location of this lovely house is very quiet but... More

The Manoir des Alberges is a typical, romantic "belle époque" (1900) villa located in the quiet and charming village of Uriage-les-Bains. Pascale and Bruno are dedicated hosts with a wonderful conversation! Our room/bathroom was spacious and well furbished, breakfast was fresh and tasty - an absolutely excellent address !
