A superb find en-route from Perpignan to Cannes A delightful stay on a quiet tree lined street in St Gilles. We had a comfortable well appointed room and an excellent value dinner of good straightforward food, all delivered by charming, considerate, pleasant staff. Many little detail touches give Le Cours an edge - Two bottles of water in our room... More

Great location in the charming town of St Gilles conveniently located for Arles and Nimes. Excellent dinner - €19.50 menu really was super value. We were also provided with free secure motorcycle parking which we really appreciated. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Overall a really great stop on our grand tour!

very comfortable rooms, fantastic restaurant and nice friendly helpful staff. Would recommend this hotel highly and would happily stay there again. As others have noted the town itself is a bit of a let down. We were looking forward to visiting the old church in town but it was closed when we went although all info said it should have... More

this was a miserable hotel, so depressing, small bedrooms small beds, clean but charmless, I would avoid the town too.Dinner was good , an excellent four course meal, breakfast was self serve and pretty uninspiring but adequate. The staff were helpful but we just hated it here and couldn't wait to leave the next morning.the other people staying at the hotel... We had an opportunity to eat at Le Cours during a canal boat trip this year. The restaurant was recommended by the staff at LeBoat and we were not disappointed. Even though Le Cours is a hotel as well as a restaurant, it was very clear that their restaurant is a major part of their business, unlike many other hotel... More

Staff here were very helpful. There is a locked area nearby to store bicycles/ cars. Our room was a decent size and quite comfortable. The hotel restaurant was lovely. Nice atmosphere and good service. We enjoyed a 4 course evening meal which ended with a selcetion of cheeses from a platter containing so many varieties it was difficult to decide... More

In a 2 week stay in provence this was one of the best hotels I stayed in. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was small but OK. Decor was nice and the breakfast was buffet style and good. Also, the evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately St Gilles is a poor and run down place,... More

This hotel provided us with all that was needed for a relaxing stop-over after a day's travelling. We couldn't fault it: the room was pleasant, the cuisine was superb and the service was friendly and efficient.

This hotel has been recently modernised and the bedrooms are nicely, if plainly furnished with new ensuites, Air Con and electric shutters. It is on a quiet street and certainly in the room at the back there was no noise and a nice view over the rooftops to the countryside beyond St Gilles. As the previous reviewer has observed, there... The great aspect to this hotel is the restaurant attached with very friendly and efficient staff. Many locals seems to enjoy it. Its is a leafy lane (side street) where parking was easy and free. Good location for the Camargue. Bathroom very small but room clean and comfortable.
