Definitively not a typical "chain-hotel" , amateurs of restaured old houses may love it. Very close to the airport, in a rather industrial/scholar part of great Bordeaux where a taxi drive to the center of Bordeaux will cost you approx. 45€. Around the big house there is a nice garden with a beautifull terrace. Rooms are OK, nothing special. Breakfast... More

Hotel has good location for airport and ring road. Not good for town centre : buses are erratic and tram stop is about 15 mins walk. Outdoor facilities are awful : pool is tiny and mostly indoors . Pond is dirty with Swans etc in a tiny area. Don't believe the professional photos ! Can't comment on dinner : we... More

Dear customers, We would like to thank you for your comments. We are truly sorry to know that your stay did not provide you full satisfaction. However, our pictures are totally true to the reality. For exemple, we can see on them that our swimming pool is indeed covered. Concerning the wedding happening during your stay, we are actually victims... More

A perfect base to explore The Bordeaux area. Talence is a 20 minute tram ride to Bordeaux center, and very easily accessible to airport. While Talence itself is unremarkable, this hotel and restaurant is incredibly special. The staff was warm and very accommodating. The hotel and grounds peaceful and lovely. The dinner was one of the best we have ever... More

I was in Bordeaux for one night and stayed at the La Reserve. I did not have dinner there, only breakfast. Breakfast is cold stuff only (you can make yourself a boiled egg) and the quality of the food is excellent. Very good coffee, different types of preserves, cheese, and cold cuts. Of course you get yoghurt and other healthy... More

Stay in this hotel and be treated to a wonderful experience by the staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, even though it isn't in Bordeaux city. The staff were really helpful. For example they showed us where the tram was and how to get on to go to the city by driving there themselves and having us follow them... they... More

We stayed 2 nights at the end of July. We booked a room prestige and we had the chance be upgraded to the suite. The room and the bath are clean and spacious and they correspond to the picture on the website... There is even a Nespresso machine en-suite!! We were already looking forward to finally enjoying a propper espresso... More

Choose one of the rooms in the first floor and relax! We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, the nice sofa, the tall bed, the Nespresso coffee and view in the garden. Perfect choice if you like to go up and down to the vineyards.

This is the third time we stay in this lovely chateau/manor house for our favourite pastime - visiting vineyards around Bordeaux! We love the warm welcome, the beautiful and comfortable bedroom, the terrace, the parkland, the delicious food - seems to be getting better and better (the chef is up for a michelin star apparently) . Last but not least,... More

We spent two nights in a suite and although we had a pleasant stay found that for the price we paid for the room and given the fact that the hotel is member of a very good hotel chain, the overall service level was not adequate. For instance, upon arrival, we had to wait several minutes before the receptionist was... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in early September. We were visiting Bordeaux for two nights and stayed in a city centre hotel for the first night and were looking forward to relaxing in the surroundings of a fabulous Chateau for the second day and night. We reserved one of a number of promotional packages advertised on... More
