The location is wonderful, clean air, nice view, delicious breakfast buffet! The rooms are very clean and very well decorated. There is an excellent restaurant that we had diner. Very kind, friendly and helpful staff. We should stay longer.

A very nice unconventional hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Me and my boyfriend stayed in the hotel to explore Florence and Tuscany. The location is handy close to the motorway and you're in Florence in under half hour. The restaurant was really quite nice, the food was very good and original and it was more than great value... My colleagues and I were driving through Italy for business as we have done numerous times over the years. However this time one of our number was an Italian from the north. A little local knowledge is a powerful thing. On his recommendation we stayed overnight at il Burchio, and enjoyed it very much. The rooms may be a little... More

We stayed in the hotel for 10 days in May and we loved it. It is a typical Tuscan villa so our room was rather dark- yet cool when it was hot outside. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Somebody wrote that breakfast was poor - but this is a very small hotel and... More

Me and wife were travelling with her friend and husband and stayed there 3 nights, booked it because of the price but turned out to be the best part of our trip, it's a quaint little hotel which feels very much like a family run bed and breakfast. It's not very close to Florence however is located in a very... More

My family arrived here for a stay overnight before travelling further south. We had two beautiful rooms situated around a courtyard of the hotel. The hotelier was extremely friendly and helpful, and we spent the afternoon basking in the sun by the pool.In the evening we ate outside in the restaurant courtyard which again was excellent.

Small, quaint, lovely, friendly all accurately describe this home away from home. Complete with staff that feel more like cousins and close friends than hotel staff. Rooms were very clean, good size, nicely decorated. Close to horse stables where you can, with the hotels help, set up a reservation to ride. Not near anything worth seeing. Near as in walking... We just came back from our Holiday in Tuscany. We were there for 12 days. We got the full Italian experience. Hospitality, typical Italian agriculture hotel, great Tuscan food, lovely surroundings and a great location. You can visit Siena, Firenze, Arezzo within 1 hour. Thank you for another great stay. We will definetly come back!

We stayed here on one of our stops while on our honeymoon. What a lovely place! The staff are all super friendly, speak English and are willing to give you any advice as to where to go and what to see. Breakfast is outstanding and dinner is just lovely! The kitchen is closed on Sunday's, but there is a lovely... More
