We stayed one night at the Chateau in July 2014 and very much enjoyed our short stay. Our junior suite was comfortable and included a kitchenette with a large fridge. The Chateau is very well situated and is ideal for anyone using Merignac Airport at Bordeaux. The swimming pool was large, clean and with plenty of space for sunbathing. The... More

We had only one night stay at this charming little Chateau. Owners are great, friendly and nice. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable. Down side is no AC in the rooms, summertime can get pretty hot. Very basic breakfast in the morning.

We stayed at the chateau for 3 nights and enjoyed our visit. It has a lovely pool area and we made full use of that. Martillac is a small village with only a few amenities but it has two restaurants that we visited - Le bistou and Vin Damour (tapas). Both were very good and very friendly and I would... More

Very surprised by reception, or lack thereof! Someone who may have been owner said hello & disappeared! Eventually returned to give us the key. Room was beautifully decorated but bathroom very poor standard. Could not use shower as head kept falling out of holder & then soaked floor. Towels thin & smelt musty & not very clean. Breakfast mediocre &... More

We were so pleased to have found something like this! Great place to stay, unbelievably authentic, very good value and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We were travelling as part of a bike tour and there was plenty of parking and the rooms were huge, in fact a couple of us had an apartment! If you are planning... More

We had a lovely two night stay here; the location is perfect for a visit to the area of Bordeaux; close to the city but far enough away to enjoy the countryside. The rooms were lovely (bathroom a bit small/awkward but somewhat to be expected in trying to fit into structure). We had lovely breakfasts on the patio; enjoyed the... More

Chateau de Lantic is a sprawling country mansion with a homelyfeel and many touches of layout and furnishing which leave one wanting to say only good things about it. Nice gardens, impressive access gates, beautiful tiling and passageways and cosy corners, Casual and friendly welcome from what seemed to be the owner. Bedroom (junior suite on first floor overlooking inner... More

We stayed here for one night in mid-August 2013. The Chateau itself is lovely and has been renovated in an old, traditional French style. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated with good facilities and a large bathroom and looked out over the large garden and the pool. The B and B is run by a lovely couple, who helped us... More

Lovely big rooms in a nice looking chateau. There is a pool and some sun loungers and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We had dinner there and the food was nice, although you just got what you were given. Breakfast was great, lots of fresh bread, pastries, freshly squeezed juice etc...

Chateau de Lantic allows you to get a real taste of life in France 100`s of years ago. Why just read about it when you can experience it.
