I work in the tourism industry so have visited many private game lodges both in South Africa and our neighboring countries. Nambiti Hills is honestly a little piece of heaven. The lodge, the staff, the food .. just everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Nambiti to anybody.

Exclusive but still very down to earth staff who makes you feel comfortable and at home. Food is excellent. Game drives are exceptional with the big five all there. Rangers are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to accommodate guests needs and requirements. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus. Easy accessible from Gauteng and Durban.

We spent 2 nights at Nambiti Hills, with our 2 sons (7 and 3y). Beautiful place, well taken care off, excellent food, very comfortable, kids friendly. The game drives were very good with knowledgeable rangers (Reggie was ours), high chances of spotting 4 out of the big five plus many other animals. Good free wi-fi.

Having worked in the industry for many years, we understand what it takes to create the perfect setting for every occasion. Ours was our honeymoon and we were delighted to have spent the final three days at Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge. The rooms and main guest areas are beautiful and extremely comfortable; just what you need after a morning... More

We had a fantastic 3 days at Nambiti. Beautiful rooms with amazing free standing baths overlooking the stunning view. Perfect with children as no fear of any animals getting in. Lovely little pool, and delicious food. The game drives are excellent - we saw 4 of the big 5 - only the elusive leopard failed to appear. Kingsley was a... More

Stayed with children of 7 and 10 years old. Excellent service, friendly staff, great game drives, delightful food, beautiful scenery, kids friendly... We stayed one night but two would have been preferable. 2,5 h from Durban. We saw lions, black rhino, giraffes, zebra and much more!

Stunning rooms and lodge at Nambiti Hills which exceeded all our expectations. Great game drives which boast the big 5, we saw four of them, sadly no leopard about. Knowledgeable game rangers and a wonderful place to tie in with a trip to the Drakensberg which is about an hour away and three and a half hours from Durban.

We would like to thank everyone at Nambiti Hills for our wonderful 3 night stay. We really can't fault anything at this gorgeous lodge. The chalets are beautifully appointed and comfortable and have a view of a little water hole, at which buck and even a giraffe drank during our stay. The food was delicious. Real fine dining and we... More

Our stay was beyond amazing, we travelled recently with our family of 5 (ages 6, 9, 9) with my sister in law and her family of 5 (ages 6, 7 and 10). My family (2 adults and kids 10,7,5) and my brothers family (2 adults and kids 9,9,6) spent three amazing nights at this lodge. It is probably the best hospitality experience we have ever had. We always travel 5 star and often have staff intimidated by our 6 kids, however we could not have felt more welcome as a family of... More
