A marvellous three nights at Esiweni was one of the highlights of our holiday in South Africa. I second a previous reviewer's comments about our game ranger Leonie - she is superb, and I cannot praise her too highly. Her determination to find the elusive Cape Buffalo was impressive, and we found a male at last. With 7 hours out... More

Having a couple of free days in South Africa, following a friend's wedding in Durban, we decided to go on a mini safari. After checking out the reviews for all of the lodges at Nambiti we opted to stay at Esiweni Lodge. It wasn't a disappointment. The lodge, the views, the staff - it was all amazing. The food was... This was our third visit to the stunning Esiweni, this time with two well-travelled guests from the USA. Everything was perfect & we agree with all the other reviews - this is the most stunningly located game lodge we have been to. We had the unusual privilege of having the lodge to ourselves so we could have more flexibility with... More

Stayed for 2 nights and should have stayed longer. Setting of lodge is magnificent with all rooms having a wooden deck overlooking the valley with the river below. Staff were extremely helpful and co-operative. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was good and game drives were excellent. The infinity pool is a plus. This is an excellent stop off en... More

Absolutely loved everything about it and what you offered! I think your food was exceptional, although I would like to suggest that you have and option and availability of fresh fruit and veg as well. I became sick because of all the rich food - my system (and probably others as well) is not used to that. And possibly night... More

From the time you park your car on arriving to the time you collect your car on departure ... the whole game reserve and lodge experience at Esiweni is awesome! We were there for 2 nights / 1 full day but had 3 safari outings and were able to see 4 of the big 5!!
