Every aspect of our stay (4days) was top level! Location: the reserve offers not only great wildlife but also magnificent - and various - sceneries, which is even more rare; the lodge itself offers exceptional views as it overlooks a river. Hotel/rooms: luxury combination of comfort and style Food: probably the most surprising point, abundant, quite sophiticated and absolutely delicious!... More

We found heaven in South Africa at Esiweni Lodge. Sophie and the team were all lined up to greet us as drove into the stunning Esiweni lodge to welcome us with a refreshing glass of champagne, which was setting up the tone for a fabulous stay. The lodge sits on a top of a cliff overlooking a river where we... More

Sophie and Ludovic left the Parisian rat race in 2014 to become the new owners of the Esiweni Lodge. They turned the neglected lodge into a top end eclectic getaway in the serenity of the Nambiti game reserve. With only 5 rooms, the service is highly personalised and of high standard with relentless attention to details. Rooms are very spacious... More

We stayed at Esiweni in Feb 2015. On arrival (With glass of champagne in hand) the first thing that impressed us was the breath taking views. The staffs, managers/owners are very hands on and paid meticulous attention to detail. A lot of effort was put in to ensure us receiving excellent personal treatment. The boma dinners are truly an experience... More

We stayed here for a few nights to see some wildlife, and just unwind a bit. The lodge is situated in a spectacular location on top of a cliff overlooking a river. The rooms all have balconies which have the same view, and there's a very inviting infinity pool. A typical day would begin at around 5 with a wakeup... More
