we had some reservations about Esiweni Lodge 1. game drive -we joined the game drive on Saturday morning for the first time. The driver gave no extra information as there was a couple with her for the whole week & was their last day, so she only focused on things for them to see. We had no flora or fauna... More

We stayed at Esiweni Lodge recently and enjoyed our time there. On the positive side the lodge is incredibly well located atop a beautiful gorge with a fantastic view. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly. The areas we found that were lacking are: 1. The food was lacklustre and if it had been great... More

We couldn’t decide which one of the lodges in the Nambiti Game Reserve to choose, but I am now convinced that I made the right choice. A game ranger waited for us in the car park and took us to the lodge. The view when you enter the lodge area is so amazing. And you truly have a good view... More

We are a family of five and enjoyed three nights at Esiweni in April 2014. A beautifully appointed, small and personal lodge in an amazing setting within the Nambiti game reserve. Staff, Food, Service and Game Viewing were great - perfect for a bush break. TV was not missed but wi-fi in the rooms might be a good idea.

We had a desire to break away to a non-malaria area and Esiweni came up on our list. We looked at the many excellent reviews here on TripAdvisor and were sold. It was everything we expected. There is very little to add to the reviews below, other than to say that it's all round one of the better bush breaks... More

A marvellous three nights at Esiweni was one of the highlights of our holiday in South Africa. I second a previous reviewer's comments about our game ranger Leonie - she is superb, and I cannot praise her too highly. Her determination to find the elusive Cape Buffalo was impressive, and we found a male at last. With 7 hours out... More

Having a couple of free days in South Africa, following a friend's wedding in Durban, we decided to go on a mini safari. After checking out the reviews for all of the lodges at Nambiti we opted to stay at Esiweni Lodge. It wasn't a disappointment. The lodge, the views, the staff - it was all amazing. The food was...
