We stayed 5 night/4 days in Elephant Rock Lodge in Nambiti game reserve. I have spent earlier some occasions at other game reserves, but for my company (my wife and a friend couple) this was the first time in the "bush". They were worried about the accomodation, comfort, snakes,...). We immediately felt at home, thanks to the great services from... More

Elephant rock lodge is a comfortable, relaxing and friendly place to stay at Nambiti Game Reserve. The Lodge accommodates 10 people in 4 chalets. The chalets are pretty and comfortable (but with very dim lights) Our hot water tank was not big enough to provide hot water for the 4 of us in the family chalet, which was annoying as... More

We had such a great stay at Elephant Rock. It all started when we were picked up from our car by Steph, who was so friendly and welcoming. We took a very short drive to the lodge where we were welcomed with a refreshing drink, while our bags were unpacked and sent straight to our room. The hospitatlity continued throughout... More

One of South Africa's hidden gems. Located in a reserve that holds the "Big 5". We saw 4 of the 5 (Buffalo, Elephant, Lion & Rhino) which is no surprise. Leopard's are very allusive. Plenty other animals to keep you fascinated in your African experience. The Staff are just so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are so comfortable, the food... More

...and left as a happy and re-rejuvenated man! It was my first three night stay at a game reserve and the stay at Elephant Rock was a real fantastic experience. Not that we have not been at other lodges before, but this is an outstanding place in Nambiti. Although we have naerer destinations from Jozie up north, the 4 hour... More

This is the second time that i have stayed at Elephant Rock and the experience was just as wonderful, exhilirating and professional as i remebered. I stayed with a group of friends and the service we experienced was outstanding. The food was top quality with some contemporary touches. Our guide, Graeme was knowledgable, funny, friendly and helpful and we thoroughly... More

We had a sibling reunion at Elephant Rock Lodge in June. It was really great in all respects - it is small and therefore it was perfect for the overseas family members to reconnect without other guests being around, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating - we requested a birthday dinner and they baked a cake for the... Elephant Rock was just exceptional in every way, from reception on arrival through to departure. Brilliant safaris with many animals (thanks Stefanie), brilliant accommodation & staff, & the most delicious food - breakfast, lunch and evening meal. They catered for our two vegetarians also brilliantly. And how nice to return from the afternoon safari (just) a little chilled, & to be... More

We (a group of 5)recently stayed at Elephant Rock -- what a fantastic experience... Everyone (including teenagers and elderly parents) were made to feel welcome and were well looked after. The accommodation was beautiful: spacious, clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Meals were five star and we saw heaps of game on our drives. Steph, our ranger... More
