Just arrived home after a 2 night stay. A very well appointed, clean and welcoming place to stay. The Pinnacle Room on the top floor had wonderful views over the estuary and was large and spotless. Well provided for with shampoo etc. in the shower room and plenty of choice for drinks in the room. Only downside for me was... More

Just returned from a walking weekend around Arnside, staying here for 2 nights. Would wholeheartedly recommend the hospitality offered at Willowfield. The views over the estuary are spectacular and change according to the time of day. The guest house offers every opportunity to enjoy this both inside and outside. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped with details attended to. The... More

Just home from our 4th visit to The Willowfield, and we are already planning our return! This is a very well run B and B with very high standards. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. A delightful position with ever changing views over the estuary. Try it!

This is a small and very friendly Hotel, absolutely gorgeous location. The hosts were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us.We will visit again in the near future, on arrival the hosts brought out pots of tea and biscuits which were most welcome as we'd had delays whilst travelling.

Stayed for a couple of nights last week - third visit. This is just about the perfect B&B. Wonderful hosts, stunning location, lovely breakfast (the bacon is of particularly high quality), nothing too much trouble. Having got soaked to the skin by the wonderful Lakeland weather, on arrival I tentatively asked Georgina if anything could be done with my large... More

A beautiful view from our superior room, meant we could sit and watch the sun setting until late. Many guests gathered on the pretty terrace, with a drink from the well stocked bar, chatting and enjoying the perfect evening. The hosts were very friendly and brought us a pot of tea and biscuits on the terrace on our arrival, the... More

We were only at The Willlowfield for a weekend but it was great. Room was lovely with nice little touches and an amazing view. Peter and Georgina were so helpful especially as we arrived late due to traffic hold ups on M6! Breakfast, you were spoilt for choice. Walk outside and stroll along The Promenade. Amazing sunset and such a... More

We stayed here as part of our Furness Way walking holiday and couldn't recommend it enough. The Willowfield is dog friendly which was ideal for us as we were walking with our dog, Reuben. We stayed in Jenny Brown's point which has a view to die for across the bay. The rooms were clean and well equipped and the service... More

Just spent a lovely few days here with a friend. The owners provide everything you could need in your room and more with excellent little extras such as sweets and a really good selection of drinks (I particularly liked the Clipper herbal teas). There are plenty of informative books in the lounge and the bedrooms. The views over the estuary... More

Really lovely place to stay, location, hosts, rooms were great and breakfast in the conservatory was delicious. We were biking and so had porridge and a full breakfast which were equally very good. Plenty of parking in front of the B&B which is also free and not a problem to leave your car overnight if you need to. Will definitely... More
