Had a two steaks with wine dinner option - ok, not stunning. Beer was good! Breakfast was excellent. So, ok for a night's escape... More

After seeing the beautiful rooms with great views of the estuary on 4 in a bed, we immediately booked this hotel for a 2 day mid-week break. I requested a shower as opposed to a bath as my husband had mobility issues. The owner rang me and advised us to book into a recently refurbished barn which had disabled facilities... More

For two nights, I had a MOST DELIGHTFUL stay here in late December. The staff and management are friendly and MOST helpful. My room in the main building was small but very comfortable. The bed was good, the shower was strong and the location was perfect and scenic. The pub downstairs was lively, family and pet-friendly, with no smoking, cussing... More

Everything in the place was spotlessly clean and only the food stops me giving it 5* Our evening meal was disappointing with my Cumberland sausage being only thin & over cooked. My wife had a Steak Pie which was 70% crust. The breakfast which... More
