Booked into here at the last minute and got a good deal. Room was comfortable, food was good. The bar downstairs is a lively place full of characters. Very friendly, good location, fantastic views, especially of the Arnside bore if you visit at spring tide.

Booked here as a last min thing over the easter weekend. We had never been to Arnside before and we were very plesently surprised. We arrived 30 min before check in time but were taken to our room straight away. The room as nice, clean and everything you would expect. The view was amazing! That evening there was a singer... Just got back from a 3 night stay, lovely clean friendly place to stay, plenty to do near by. Staff and locals really friendly and helpful, accommodation clean well presented nothing to much for staff or owners. Food good and well priced, produced fresh and local. Could not fault the place will definitely be returning. Thanks to everyone !!!

Very quick check in, lovely clean room. Soft fluffy dressing gowns in the room was a nice touch. Nice estuary view. We went for 'steak night' which was £25 for 2 ppl with a bottle of wine. Our steak was cooked to perfection. The only downside was the bar shutting at 11pm on a Friday night.

When you book a rental from the US there is surprisingly little about the Arnside area of the UK. That’s a pity. The countryside of the UK is in great contrast to bustling cities like London and Manchester. Arnside is the village at the southeast end of a bridge that spans the Morecambe Bay/Kent River estuary wetlands, just south of... More

We arrived on a friday evening and found the reception in the bar area. Tony showed us to our en suite room which was very spacious with a double bed and a single bed in the corner, a large wardrobe (with dressing gown, iron and hairdryer inside), dressing table, television and tea and coffee making facilities. There was a small... More

Hi Many thanks for leaving a review of our establishment, We are a little concerned that you give us excellent marks for the room, service, views, staff and go on to comment about how great things are and make no negative comments at all and yet mark us 3 out of 5. !!!!!!! We upgrade you to the best room... More

Arnside was an annual holiday family destination and I am pleased to say it has changed very little since I was last there 45 years ago! I stayed for one night in this establishment and the owner Tony, could not be more helpful. We had a room with a smashing view looking over the beautiful viaduct to grange over sands.... More

My partner and I stayed at ye olde fighting cock for four nights.Arriving on the Friday and leaving Tuesday. Accomodation Our first room was at the back of the building. It was very small, but adequate for us, because the purpose of our visit to Arnside was to walk, not to stay in a room! I certainly wouldn't have complained about it.However... More

Stayed by chance after talking to Tony in the bar, we hadn't been for 6 years and the changes Tony and Jeanette had made were wonderful. We stayed in Whitecreek which had a panoramic view of the estuary looking over to Grange over sands. There attention to detail and customer service were second to none. We have found a gem... More
