We keep going back and back and back to Le Petit Chapitre, it is so good. Brigitte and Guy warmly welcome guests to their charming shabby chic B and B. Beautiful bedrooms each as individual as the next and all beautifully decorated. The breakfast table is a joy to see with different beautiful crockery each day. Breakfast is accompanied with... More

We booked based on the TripAdvisor reviews and had one of the cheaper rooms on the 1st floor and found it small and cluttered. No room for us and our stuff. Worse was that we felt that the room could use a good clean, the amount of stuff is probably in the way of the cleaner getting to it properly.... More

We stayed in the Chambre Oiseau. The Bird Room. Big and bright and lovingly decorated, it faces the church opposite. The only quibbles I had with the room were the pillows (they were quite elderly) and the tub (no shower head). The bathroom is carpeted, which took me aback as well. Our hostess did offer the shower in another room... More

Dear I'm glad you had a pleasant moment in " Le Petit Chapitre " The weather was fine allowing you to enjoy the small terrace in the company of "Sylvie" the house cat! :-) In response to your concerns about the pillows, I wanted to inform you that those are "feather" and sometimes have a look ... too soft ....... We have stayed at Le Petit Chapitre on several occasions travelling through Belgium. It is a small B & B with 5 very different and characterful rooms. It is set in a small square just off the main square in Chimay, ideal for popping out for a bite to eat. English is spoken and you can pay with card. The... More

Another wonderful stay at the beautiful Petit Chapitre. This pretty hotel is decorated in Brigittes individual style and its very very pretty indeed. Each room is themed and distinctive. Brigitte has placed kettles in each room and this is very welcome. Breakfast is a complimented by a variety of Brigittes home made produce, the finest marmalade you have ever tasted.... More

The B&B really stands out from the crowd. It makes a welcome change to the identikit furnished hotels around. It is really charming and left such an impression on us. The cotton room is worth the extra money. When we entered it, it was like being transported back to the 19th century with its antique furniture. It has a lovely... More

This is a small B&B full of character. Possibly too much for some people, and at times style wins out over substance. The chairs in the bedrooms are, for example, better to look at than to sit on.We made the mistake of taking the cheaper room, and it would have been well worth our while paying the extra 10 euros... This is a must stay, a lovely charming hotel in the centre of Chimay. Delicious home made preserves served with breakfast. Every room in the hotel is decorated in its own unique style. I can't wait for my next visit

The B&B is ideally located next to the church of Chimay in a very charming house. We were travelling by bycicle and the friendly owner indicated a safe place for our bikes. We could choose between the blue and the red room, both are decorated like 'Alibabba's grotta', with a luxurious, warm, original (and slightly kitchy) feel to it. The... More

We stayd in this place during our trip thruough the north of France and Belgium. It's very nice and cosy place. I really liked the decorations, our room and the whole atmosphere in the hotel. The owner is a very nice and friendly lady. In the morning she prepared for us tasty brekfast.
