This hotel is in a superb position right on the promenade at Saint-Aubin-Sur-Mer overlooking the sea. A very friendly welcome awaited us and we were shown to a very clean comfortable modern bedroom with en-suite shower room. The hotel is in a good position for the Ouisterham/Caen ferry terminal and also well positioned for exploring the Normany beaches and War... More

My husband and I stayed here last weekend on way back from family holiday in The Vendee. We booked half board at a very reasonable price so were not expecting too much. Our room, whilst definitely on the small side, was perfectly equipped for a one night stay with excellent shower. The staff were extremely attentive and spoke very good... More

A lovely hotel right on the beach, directly opposite the memorial to the Royal Marines Commandos who landed there on june 6 1944. I visited here whilst filming the D-Day Beaches for battlefieldvideo.com and found it to be very clean and comfortable. the staff were excellent and spoke very good English. The restaurant was superb with high quality food and... More

The hotel, a modest two star, was situated fronting the beach with nice clean rooms overlooking the sea. The beach, one of the beaches of the Normandy landings, was also nice and clean but apart from its history a bit uninteresting - wide and flat. We were welcomed by a very pleasant attentive mademoiselle who later helped efficiently to wait... More

Stayed recently with a group. Charming and helpful service. Very good food - we were eating en pension, and the food was excellent (4 courses including cheese). Local dishes. Welcome aperitif on first night. Reasonable wine list, and good selection of fine Calvados. Bedroom recently redecorated -in beach hut style. Hotel is across the road from the beach in this... More

Rather shabby definitely needs refurbishment. Room wasn't ready offered a twin which we declined but eventually got the room with a balcony which was clean- location pretty good and good for visiting the normandy beaches

I stayed in this hotel during Semaine Acadienne, a festival that celebrates the Acadian culture. Located in historic St. Aubin sur mer, the landing site of the Canadian North Shore Regiment (New Brunswick), on D-Day, the hotel is feet away from the beach. Although small, which is typical in European hotels, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom needs... More
