Antoinette and Keith are the perfect hosts. The house is beautifully furnished, the rooms are spacious and the garden is a lovely haven. We were served and ate breakfast in their lovely shady garden every day. While relaxing in the garden of a Sunday Antoinette served us delicious afternoon tea with a home baked sponge. YUM! When Keith is home... More

We first saw this place when it featured on a renovation programme "Build a New Life in The Country" some 4 years ago.The sheer determination of Keith and Antoinette to make this dilapidated manor house into a place of style and excellence encouraged us to check it out for ourselves. We stayed for 4 nights. Taste and style in abundance... More

We had 4 nights here in September and had a fabulous time. From the moment we arrived we felt instantly relaxed in this laid back atmosphere. The house is beautiful and the rooms are wonderfully decorated, lovely and clean with crisp bed linen and great big towels. Our hostess with the mostess was Antoinette. She cooked delicious dinners on two... More

Just spent a fantastic two nights at this lovely b&b run by Antoinette and Keith. The house is a fabulous building - a maison de maître - in Alet-Les-Bains, where you can see an old Abbaye and drink spring water. We had the smaller room on the ground floor which was perfect. Our friends stayed in the larger rooms on... More

Some friends and I recently took a trip to the south of France and wanting a more personal and less chaotic holiday, we chose to stay at a B&B – Les Marguerites – where we could come and go as we please, and still enjoy the comforts of being on holiday. Set in the tiny village of Alet Les Bain,... More

We have recently returned from our stay at Les Marguerites. We were a family of 4 & had rooms 2 & 3, which is a double room with an adjoining twin room. The double room is so spacious with the most beautiful furniture & the most comfortable bed along with super crisp sheets & bedding. This room even had a... More

We (family of 5 with children between 3 and 7) stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. It is a lovely place, and Antoinette and Keith are one of the nicest couples you could meet. It felt like we were friends by the time we left, and Antoinette even babysat for us one night (not preplanned) so... More

My fiancé and I stayed at Les Marguerites for 4 nights in May 2015 and had such a wonderful time! The house has been restored and brought back to life by owners Keith and Antoinette who have done an amazing job capturing the charm and beauty of the region. The rooms are spacious, bright and beautifully decorated - a great... More

Antoinette and Keith have spent 6 years turning this once derelict shell, into a wonderful, welcoming bed and breakfast . The decor and furnishings are stylish and comfortable and every room is spacious and cool. Breakfast is a feast and Antoinette also provides dinner 3 evenings each week. We dined in the spacious garden with a plentiful supply of wine. We... More

We took a road trip at the beginning of June from Bordeaux to Perpignan and along the way booked in to a couple of guesthouses, one of which was Les Marguerites. We stayed for two nights in room 5 which is a lovely, spacious en suite room at the back of the house. Antoinette, the host, was very welcoming and... More
